It's a small, but important distinction to replace businessdude's wishy-washy "someone maybe thought" with a definitive "yes, they referenced campus walls that were built to hide slaves".
And once you acknowledge that - sure, seems fine to change the logo? What's sillier, them changing their logo to not glorify part of the school's racist history or you getting mad about it on an internet forum?
