both my folks born in upstate NY. Got more relatives in Houston than Buffalo, but it's close. my dad is buried in buffalo. he died in Richmond VA , we shiped dad up by train before the ground thawed. we had the funeral and then i assume he has a nice place with other family.

buffalo people have this nice about them. bit like fargo. not mormon creepy nice but more nicer than you would expect in any area NE bitter cold area. Yes, they will tell you to f your mother. But I mean does Philly or Boston or NYC have "this nice about them"?

Awareness in the polls

More people oppose military intervention in the protests than support

a year ago, if trade rumors hinted at more sanctions...dow down 900. recession likely. dow falls to 26k

today, no trade. nothing is open. nothing is shipping. nobody is working. dow surges 27k on possibly fake job figure, only 43mil applied of unemployment, only 13.5 out of a job, riots at 11. jfc how much money did we give to these guys running enterprise?

Welp, 57 Buffalo Police Officers just resigned in disgust.

When budgets are cut and police forces are dismantled, watch your property values collapse and anarchy ensue. Please, don't move to my neighborhood and bring your liberal nonsense with you. Stay and clean up your own self created messes.

yes, we will see "property values collapse and anarchy" in the "liberal nonsense" areas. only to see the "conservative values" areas spared from such massive fluctuations. and at the end of the day, the collapsed liberal valued home, same year, same size, same lot, sold for 400% more.

They resigned from "The Emergency Response Team" (whatever that means), not the department. Probably more of a symbolic gesture than anything.

They only resigned from the emergency response team, they are still fully employed, just a bunch of cry babies throwing a temper tantrum that they're not allowed to crack 75yo's heads open when they feel like it, like they normally can.
Dismiss without benefits is what they need. Can pay MS-13 to police. Similar results.

lol. Imagine looking at 57 officers resigning (acknowledging that's not what happened, but Smudger thought it did) because 2 got suspended for almost killing a dude and saying "the problem here is the liberals". Conservatives are the ultimate bootlickers of police violence

If we take the US dollar reserves of the most indebted countries and deduct the outstanding liabilities with the estimated foreign exchange revenues in this crisis … The global dollar shortage may rise from 13 trillions of dollars in March 2020 to $ 20 trillion in December …

The Federal Reserve knows that it has the largest bazooka at its disposal because the rest of the world needs at least $20 trillion by the end of the year, so it can increase the balance sheet and support a large deficit increase of $10 trillion and the US dollar shortage would remain.

we give them all the money. its kinda like a drug addict. if he makes 10 dollars a day or a thousand a day he still spends it all on drugs. we spend it all on capitalism. the differnce is that in our society its by design.

I don't want you banned. I just wanted a citation. I was quoting the Old Forum trope.

I actually like a lot of your posts. Don't want any current poster banned.

Check out this BS - a guy "peacefully" protesting while climbing on a FedEx semi on the interstate, gets run over, and the family blames the poor truck driver and implies the world should stop and let these clowns do what they want.
