regarding your second statement. what exactly do you mean 'black people are behind in wealth?' is michael jordan, jayz, obama etc etc etc 'behind in wealth?' why is it that these guys were able to build fortunes despite the GI bill of 1947? what about the black doctors, lawyers, actors, elected officials....just HOW did they do it? are they x-men?
i didn't realize there was a race on for each ethnicity to gather enough funds to have the most overall. besides that, the GI bill was seventy years ago. a full half a lifetime before me, you and most the people itt were even born. what does it have to do with the thousand black babies born this week futures? its a long time ago, just like slavery. its not a part of OUR existence so why people always talking about it?
were you bequeathed a large white privledged fortune that gave you a head start in life? i wasn't. i was born to a poverty stricken single mother. i went to the same schools as black kids in boston. they had every.single opportunity in life that i had and some of them are far, far more successful in life than me.
so...where is the massive oppression thats going on TODAY? if you leave out the resisting arrest videos you have nothing but the past.
the left wants everyone to be a victim of something, so they can fix it all with programs........which are essentially nothing more than handouts that communities become dependent on, not to mention all the skimming that comes off the top of said programs to fund the lifestyles of people who are basically soulless trash (virtually all politicians.)
you may call it enhance welfare. I call it basic human rights and being paid what is earned.
and yes I was bequeethed a large fortune. Both of my grandparents bought houses and sent their children to college on the GI Bill. This allowed my parents to make decent money and buy a house in a decent neighborhood with 2 cars and all the food I wanted. never did I worry that my parents would not take care of me, that I would be hungry, that I wouldnt have a roof, or that I wouldnt go to college.
and I got that bc of the largest socialist effort in the history of our country.
and ofc black people are behind in wealth. they own far less on an average or median per capita basis than whites.
but in general I am with you that blacks are not all that much more oppressed than whites. whites are super oppressed and exploited too! the left, and certainly the media, often acts like whites just got it made while the left are just beaten down in every situation. actually, everyone is beaten down except the very few super rich.
