Are the new mods interested in allowing certain previously banned posters?

My request was mainly for Flywf but you could add a right winger for balance.

We discussed this prior to becoming moderators and at that time decided against it, simply on the basis that we reckoned the exiles were done for good reasons (we were also explained the reasoning for several exiles) and that it would lead to a difficult start as moderators; our start would be sudden enough as it was.

And while that decision is not set in stone (we briefly discussed it again due to your post), we have decided to stick by it for the foreseeable future.

lol I wouldn’t accept a billion dollars to let toothsayer come back here. Comparing the transgressions of toothsayer and fly is pretty offensive. One was a gruff ahole who cussed a lot, the other was an extreme eugenicist working towards a master race.

The fact that ts is not banned from this site is pretty concerning.

As far as I know, TS has been banned from politics multiple times under many different moderators for racist posting and Fly only once for personal attacks (in the political era of Trump and under a mod that eventually permitted personal attacks). Fly should be allowed to post. TS should be exiled to a private containment thread that only 2+2 red admins can read.
