I engaged too and feel bad. I wouldnt want to be the one that made him go off the rails. I think he was very decent in the way he talked to me. And it must have been a heart thing judging by the amount of effort he put into this, you could tell. Arent believes sort of like religion? , planted by culture and uprising? He reasured me he is not a nazi, I believed him and he brought sources to back his claims up. I researched the things he was claiming, and although I dont fully agree nor understand, I found sources like Jordan Peterson, who are making similar arguments.

Imo even if he was a nazi it would be a bad idea to cut him off. I heard engaging is the best method if you think someone is on a very wrong path. Please dont alienate yourself with your ideas. And as you said you spent too much time here, so it might be for the best. Maybe he should be allowed a fresh start. That would be a wish I had anyways.
