by cuppee's way of 'thinking' many women are 'harmed' by having kids. ~all of them would do it again. I think they are correct. But I sure as hell wouldn't want to coerce them into having kids.
No, but I'm willing to pitch in and do my part.

ok but if we all agree it's harmful then I wouldn't do it. (or at least would wish I hadn't).

I thought you would recall moral conversations about satisfaction and epicurean hedonism. If someone forces me to reduce my overall satisfaction then they are doing me harm. And lack of physical fitness is not harmful if it increases overall satisfaction.

Wellbeing is not the same as physical health. Physical health is very nice but it has a price and it can be too high.

That was too complicated for me. To say my point another way I contend that anyone who is unhappy because of stuff they have done to the point where they would say "I wish that had been illegal" were making a mistake when they wanted it to be legal years before.

We're not disagreeing abut this are we? There's some nitty issues about changes in what was known and what was possible/practicle but otherwise of course.

The whole 'debate' with cuppee is ill founded because he is conflating physical fitrness with well-being and I'm not. It's as trivial as that. If he wants to say fat people would be phyically fitter if they lost weight than of course.
