Which ties into Chez view (my paraphrase) that Society, Gov't, Doctors, etc should not be trying to push, coerce, educate people, on focusing on a healthy lifestyle based on a healthy diet and exercise.
Some believe we are all going to 'Die anyway' so pushing them to 'be healthier, etc' has little value to them or society generally.
I totally disagree with those who take that view. I believe that Gov't, Doctors, Influencers, etc have an obligation to keep very out front and in our faces always, the type of 'peer pressure', 'societal pressure', 'expectations' as a 'societal goal' of better outcomes in diet and fitness, thus health.
I think the very deliberate diminishing of such societal pressure, to the point where many doctors now fear telling patients they need to lose weight, as part of fixing what ails them, is a very bad and dangerous slippery slope that we are on.
