I am going to guess they weren't particularly interested in the interview. Hopefully your friend updated his model of the world accordingly.

I saw the claims yesterday afternoon that a counter protestor was knocked down and beaten unconscious and had to go to the hospital. I suspect something happened, but there was A LOT of hyperbole involved in the recounting of the tale; but that doesn't mean it couldn't have been a catalyst for what happened last night.

And lets keep some things in perspective. Even all the fighting last night was probably less than what happened during the Knicks game going on around the same time.

Security stood around like cops at Uvalde. Did they even talk to anyone?
According to Twitter, every time someone asked the police/security to get involved, they were told they had stand down orders form above to not get involved. And this has been the case for a few days while the violence escalated.

The biggest obstacle to a non-violent Palestinian protest movement is the violence visited on peaceful activists by the IDF.

This guy deserves a Nobel:

Right, so stop getting so worked up about it. There was a bit of a fight.

Lol

"The protests are less dangerous than the police beading them up" means they shouldn't call police?

I don't think the musings of neo-Nazis help explain the world regardless of your personal opinion. But you've been told all this before anyway, several times.

The authorities should have gotten involved 2 days ago when the Palestinian protestors were chasing around unarmed students and throwing them out of their "Zionist no go zones." Then it would have never escalated to that point.

What Orwell got wrong is that most people don't have to be beaten into submission. Most people go quietly.

When people self-describe as Communists, fools say "But that's totalitarianism!", under which protests are always severely crushed.

Hamas sucks. The Communists suck. The Patriots suck. The Israeli Nationalists suck. Flag wavers suck. The root of all this authoritarianism and fascism is losing your individuality into some abstract group of people, most of whom you've never met.

I don't want anyone banned. Not at all. No buts.

It is pretty absurd though that with the Nazi and racist takes and the bullshit about calling anyone who doesn't salute the Israeli Army an antisemite or self-hating Jew or Hamas supporter that you can get banned for calling someone an idiot. I embrace that absurdity. If some lame ass hall monitor is going to ban someone for name calling while people happily chat about rounding up dissidents or calling refugees "garbage-people"? I try not to force them to do it, but I'm certainly not going out of my way to spare them from it.

He is an arab, so he should probably side with the arab side a bit more.

Why is he only posting crimes of black people?

There has been no law and order since the criminals have taken over the campuses. I was wondering when the counter protestors would finally step up. These protests should have been shut down day one. they knew this was a violent ideology.

So when a bunch of not-law-enforcement goes around bashing people with sticks, Mr. Law and Order here says they "finally step up".
