I wonder if this war will expose to people that Iran is just using them as pawns and cannon fodder, or if everyone smart enough to realize it has already been blasted off the face of the Earth by Israel.

War? Tt's just Israel just killing defenseless civilians. There needs to be some greater symmetrical sense to a conflict to call it a war. If I crush an ant did I battle it? That's what you sound like, depicting the wholesale slaughter of innocent people as a war.

You really don't know you're surrounded by absolute lunatics until they have occasion to safely endorse ethnic cleansing without any negative social consequences for themselves.

The agencies mentioned in the article were relevant as in closest to the action and had the most expertise on the matter. The State Department is relevant in the sense that they’re the final word and can just ignore facts they don’t like from other agencies. If you want to be charitable, you can argue that they did so with the belief that they could pressure the Israelis into improving their behavior but that doesn’t mean they determined they weren’t blocking aid.
