I'm not trying to spin any narrative. We're both , both right and wrong. Usually the first DUI does not leed to a mandatory arrest. Unless the person stopped has any prior record or was so reckless. And yes, if your record shows previous DUI stops, then you will be arrested. Maybe it works different than n your State.
Sounds like life imprisonment would be your preference.
again you're putting words in my mouth to make a poor argument.
I'm not an angry white man.
I sure as **** didn't say life in prison. Don't put words in my mouth just because you can't defend your viewpoint. Don't assume cops who were super polite to this guy and have a track record of making a lot of DUI arrests would have let him go if he was white.
You realize there is a lot of room between being arrested and life in prison right?
The last time I got pulled over my keys were in my pocket because my car has push button start. The cops asked for license and registration. My registration was in my locked glove box. I told the cops I'm reaching into my pocket to get my keys so I can unlock the glove box and give him the registration. Would have I been shot if I didn't say this? Probably not but it was still smart to tell him what I was doing. You say it at first appeared stupid for this idiot to run away from the cops, steal their taser and shoot it at them. It didn't appear stupid- it absolutely was stupid. And you can't even admit that. Should they have shot him? No. But it absolutely was stupid and drastically increased the chance of something like this happening. Of course when I pointed this out you call me an angry white man rather than actually trying to defend your statement.
