I realize this, but it's because your fears are irrational and grounded in misinformation. If you think they're insecure, then you should be able to provide in detail what the vulnerability is for widescale fraud.

Most states require an ID to register to vote, match the signature on the mail-in ballot envelope, and your ballot is tracked all the way to tabulated; that is, ballot received >> waiting for signature verification >> signature verified >> ballot tabulated.

Like at a voting station, this is all overseen every step of the way by workers from both parties. That is just as good as you getting your receipt at 10am and a 16-year-old flipping all the voting machines at 4am.

Thing is in the US there are at least 6 states that allow everyone to vote by mail now (with all or most voters receiving ballots in the mail). One of them is Utah.

They have a much higher voter % than the other states that have polling places.

The other thing is that in many states the lines to vote in person can be hours long. After Trump lost in one of those states (GA I think) they forbade people from providing food or water to people on line waiting to vote.

So this whole mail in voting thing is just another way for Republicans to restrict voting for people mostly in urban areas who would more likely vote for Democrats.

The irony of course is that mail in voting was extended by Republicans in Red States and some purple ones just after the 2000 election so they could expand the voting % for the elderly who would vote mostly for Republicans. That backfired...

Yeah, but what about Jake and co wardriving around the hood to hack grandma's wifi so they can steal her deets and vote for Uncle Joe in her name? What about grampa soiling her glasses after he soils himself so she can't see that he didn't put her real vote in for Orange Daddy? What about them, smart guy?

Well maybe not quite the irony because at rallies Trump actually requested that his voters vote more than once in the 2020 election because he was so pissed that mail in voting had been extended in most states.

Someone tried to break in again. I had more door open enjoying the sun from a few feet back inside. A dude sticks his head through my door and starts asking me if my wheels are for sale. I tell him huh? No. (I do have wheels for sale online)

I become acutely aware that neither of my everyday carry knives are not nearby.

I realize my 9mm is in my bedroom,( I forget about my 12ga in the closet, but it was unloaded)

The guy sticks his head in more through the door to ask me about wheels

He leaves. I lock the door and race back to my room and grab my pistol.

I stand on my porch. He sees me. He sees my sidearm.

He tells me he used to buy wheels from someone that lived here. I tell him I’ve lived here a long as time and he’s lying.

He leaves the complex, turns left then turns around and walks back across the street in front of my place and goes on his way. He sees me follow him with my eyes the entire time.
