I am very very far from being a "glock guy." I think they're generally quite ugly and I never really liked the grip angle, but I went ahead and bought a Glock 19x last month as a reward for seeing a therapist cause I had an interest in it due to it being Glock's entry into the US Army MHS competition. I read that a ton of people thought the glock was the best performing pistol and should have got the contract, and I had considered the Sig M18 but decided against it after reading about all the issues with the Sig P320 firing on its own, so I went ahead and got the Glock 19x.
I really like it! I love the tritium sights. I think tritium sights are a must have for an every day carry pistol, especially if you're carrying at night, that's why I got the 19x. I prefer my FN Five-seveN for every day carry generally, but I need to get a red dot for it as it doesn't come with tritium sights and I need something I can use at night.
People complain a little bit about the 19x saying it's not compatible with a lot of traditional Glock magazines because of the little lanyard loop at the bottom of the grip. I don't have any other Glocks or Glock mags so I don't know personally, but I would think if someone has a plethora of Glock mags and they aren't fitting the 19x cause of the lanyard loop, they could just dremel the thing off the frame easily and it's not an issue.
All in all though I'd definitely recommend the 19x! Get some of those factory Glock 33 round mags to go with it!
Sorry about the dirtyish background. I just took a pic of it on my audio interface which isn't super clean, it's whatever cause I aint drunk but I been drankin!
