Epic scientific insight and analogy!

I have. You clearly have not, otherwise you would post something showing how much humans correlate with climate change and how we are so powerful, we have the ability to change the earth natural cycle.

Tell me, why has the number of polar bears increased now compared to the 1960's?

Oh yes, you won't!

However, we focus on CO2 because those in charge can ban petrol motorcycles, car diesel, gas stove etc. There is an argument to suggest that we need more CO2 because it greens the planet. Even NASA admitted that the earth is more greener probably due to more CO2. Look at greenhouses, they triple the amount of CO2 because the plants love it. We NEED a proper scientific discussion!
Like a lot of things some can be great and too much can be deadly. Freaky isn't it?

Quite interesting that a few weeks ago in came to light that Boris Johnson, for all this climate change speech, produced a years worth of CO2 emissions (as if a car were driving for a year) in one week! This was by using the private jet of Lord Bamford, the magnate and chairman of JCB. Lord Bamford is also a big donor to the Conservative party and is investing heavily in zero-emission hydrogen engines to power its machinery. They will then go on to sell these to their customers. As always, when things don't add up, you simply follow the money. Kind of reminds me about the government hoax of how we had to invade to Iraq to 'find those WMD's'.

As for the electric vehicles they are trying to make everyone get, that will be devastating for the environment.

I for one am shocked that a guy who was just asking questions and wanting a scientific discussion has formed such strong opinions in like a day.

I have read the science, never came across anything which remotely began to try and show what percent of climate change is down to humans.

Thought I would ask to see if anyone (who I think simply blindly follows the government) could prove me wrong. All I got were random statements and 'we can't have a serious discussion here'.

It is a shame you are so easily shocked. Sorry.

What have you read? I'm sceptical that anyone who says "more greener" has read much.

I was obviously being sarcastic. And you’re just straight up lying about having read anything.

Literally on page one of the first thing you would have read if you read any scientific literature on climate change.

A quick google search would have answered your question

1973
Canada, the United States, Denmark, Norway and the former USSR signed the International Agreement on the Conservation of Polar Bears and their Habitat, strictly regulating commercial hunting.

The US Government classified the Polar Bear under its Endangered Species Act (ESA).

There have been plenty of them, and lots of documentation available if you're truly interested. It sounds like instead, you've been spending your time absorbing out of context factoid memes.

For a lot of people, even more so in the last couple of years, "research" on many topics consists of reading what comes across their different feeds or ways they consume news, and then following up on the information that confirms what they believe, or want to believe. It's hard to avoid getting caught in an echo chamber at times; sounds like you might have found yourself in one.

The science is confusing. Cows are bad apparantly but when I try to do my bit by eating as many of them as possible then that's wrong.

An Insulate Britain activist has told the high court he will “block the highway at the earliest opportunity” if he is not jailed for breaching an order banning the group from protesting on the M25.

Ben Taylor, 27, was one of nine members of the climate activist group to appear at the royal courts of justice in London on Tuesday accused of breaching the injunction granted to National Highways by blocking a roundabout on London’s orbital motorway.

Dr Ben Buse, 36, Ana Heyatawin, 58, Louis McKechnie, 20, Roman Paluch-Machnik, 28, Oliver Roc, 41, Emma Smart, 44, Tim Speers, 36, James Thomas, 47, and Taylor all face a potential two years in prison and unlimited fine.

All but Buse defended themselves in court and were invited to respond to points made by lawyers for the claimant. In a statement echoed by all defendants, Roc, from London, told Dame Victoria Sharp, president of the Queen’s Bench Division, and Mr Justice Chamberlain: “I’m proud of our actions and I stand by what we have done.”

He went on: “We obviously didn’t do this for personal gain. We did take responsibility for our actions, and I did them in an attempt to mitigate the suffering of people in this country who cannot insulate or adequately heat their homes.”

Taylor told the court that if the judges did not send him to prison he would “go out and block the highway at the earliest opportunity”, adding: “And I will continue to do so until the government makes a meaningful statement and ****ing acts on it,”
he said, spurring a rebuke from Sharp for his language.

You can pry my Steam account from my cold, dead hands.

It's been 18 months now without a haircut, so they can **** off with the shower limit, too. I may work alone in a secluded wing of our building now, but I'll not be doing so with greasy hair.

I can get behind the clothing restrictions, though. Who needs more than 2 pairs of jeans?

I fear you have misunderstood the guidelines. 3 showers a week is a maximum, not a minimum. You can stick with the one a month "whether you need it or not".
