I would say Trump retweeting calls to fire Fauci and Fauci’s immediate and abrupt about face + damage control attempts are pretty much prima facie evidence that he was strong armed into a retraction, but ok. I guess we will have to wait for the Fauci memoir. I’m sure it will speak of Trump in glowing terms.

Pretty hard to interpret that as Trump threatening to fire Fauci.
