it was probably arte, but it could have been any channel honestly.

90k reviews, 2 Oscars, Selma Hayek as Frida
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0120679/?ref_=fn_al_tt_0

5k positive ratings.

3k https://www.amazon.de/Frida-Salma-Hayek/dp/B0054U0VOQ

never seen so many on a movie.

maybe she wasn't that bad. I just don't like that she liked Stalin. I dont even know if she really admired him, the wiki could have made that up. Her painting could mean anything. she suffered, she had a major accident, so she had to marry someone rich. probably a good person. I thought she is a narcissist since her motive was often herself. but when you have to lay in bed all the time, what motives are there? ah idk. good person, alright she was probably a good person. I'm just hating because I'm in a bad mood.

it received 2 Oscars. that's why there are so many docs about her. she is immensely popular. Guggenheim. arte. pbs is pretty good btw I just cant vouch for it since I dont know it that well, I know arte is good.

She died in 1954.

Stalins rep was not as bad then as it is now.

Knowledge about the gulags etc was still not widely known in the west.

top kek, maybe you should just live with that. To be honest I dont know her opinion about Stalin but it seems she had a relation with Lev Bronstein who was a quite big political threat to Stalin and rumors has it that he was eventually murdered by Stalin's agents so it's kindof contradicting. That being said tho I think you dont like the fact that she was a communist rather than admiring Stalin specifically.

Literally never heard anyone talk about this chick. I recall there was some movie made about her. Is that what you’re referring to?

She shoulda trimmed her eyebrows and btw Stalin must have had a giant shlong

Correct on the eyebrows, but dudes with giant shlongs don't go around mass murdering.
