I quoted your post because you were discussing the issue. I didn't mean to imply that you thought it was a single demographic. I was referring to the media's tendency to report on that vote as if it is a single demographic. It sounds like you and I agree, which isn't surprising.

I don't think enough states are in play for a true landslide to be within reach for either party. That means 306-ish is as good a guess as any, especially if you believe that Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are highly correlated.
