I'm sure that Trump has a lot of shady stuff in his finances, but this article isn't exactly a smoking gun.

I see it as a smoking gun.

Trump has set the stage that merely having business dealings in China is something that portends law breaking and a need for charges and arrest.

The idea that 'Biden cannot be trusted as he has interests in China and needs to protect China' is shown to be just another sham projection by Trump.

‘Trump pays more taxes to China than America’ a pretty easy line to resonate

Not this moves the needle one bit

Trump is a hypocrite, and he may have done something completely lawless related to China, but evidence of hypocrisy, standing alone, isn't a smoking gun.

Having a bank account in China by itself means practically nothing. People who do significantly less business in China than Trump own Chinese bank accounts for convenience of travel and business transactions.

What I want to know is how many CCP officials have deposited money in that account. I am sure there are many but I don’t think that’s needs to be reported to the IRS.

Deposits like this? Nothing to see here...

In 2017, the company (Trump International Hotels Management) reported an unusually large spike in revenue — some $17.5 million, more than the previous five years’ combined. It was accompanied by a $15.1 million withdrawal by Mr. Trump from the company’s capital account.

I guess that depends on what you see as a smoking gun.

If Trump is accusing anyone of X and saying X is bad and then he is caught doing it, that is hypocrisy but I also would say it is a smoking gun. It is the exact type of smoking gun he would love to nail Biden with.

See the post above this one. If that was a Biden account, Fox news and Trump would call that case over.

Need more. Sorry to say but it’s not unusual to use relatively dormant entities to shift money around even for perfectly legitimate transactions.

It’s part of Trump MO. He makes everything, even legit transactions, so shady it’s impossible to tell what is illegal.

Pretty much this.

But cuepee, don't get me wrong. I strongly suspect that a thorough forensic investigation of Trump's finances would reveal all sorts of shady stuff.

It’s pretty enjoyable to know that the over 1 billion raised for trump from his supporters that like 80% of it was stolen by a bunch of other grifters.

Fox News in the US didn’t really go hardcore right wing until the early 2000s, really planting their flag post Iraq War. They actually covered more news and their commentators were slightly more balanced.

Fox has Chris Wallace and Brett Baer by far two news guys. Id take them over anyone at CNN

What gets me is yeah Hunter capitalized off his fathers name How about you question all the Trumps? I heard Baron is raking in 6 figures mowing the Whitehouse lawn and contracts it out to caged kids

Wallace is very biased, actually. He is just far more subtle about it.

He had Brit Hume on his 'panel' the other day going off about how Biden is 'clearly senile' and how it was a staggering concern that the DNC nominated him and didn't challenge that as a baseless assertion even once. Meanwhile Trump is as batshit crazy as a human can be and it wasn't brought up once.

One example sure, but there are many instances of that on his show, especially when it comes to the discussions. I can clearly remember another time when they had a 'panel' with their usual people, then someone who was a 100% Trumper and may even have come from the campaign, and for the so-called 'other side' they had someone who was supposedly libertarian.

Fox is crap and always has been.

Spoiler alert! (just in case you don't want to wait until friday)

Spoiler:
Quote:
Giuliani and the woman, recorded by what seem to be hidden cameras, are eventually interrupted by Cohen, who bursts into the bedroom in his Borat persona, shouting: "She's 15. She's too old for you!"

Giuliani quickly sits up and appears startled by the presence of Cohen, who wears a pink outfit that resembles lingerie.

The former mayor asks him: "Why are you dressed like this?"

Cohen-as-Borat responds: "She's my daughter. Please, take me instead."

"I don't want you," Giuliani replies. He then makes his way out of the hotel suite.

Playing devil's advocate absent any pictures of the moving variety, that's exactly the sort of position one would be in and expect to need an adjustment.

If you go from a standing position, sit on the bed, and then lay down, you're going to get it wedged uncomfortably in a downward position. He's clearly going for the classic "lift and lay it down on the left leg" move.
