Trump, who is running a campaign focused on casting the election as rigged and fraudulent, illegally told people to commit voter fraud multiple times in North Carolina

The president also greeted supporters on the tarmac upon landing in Wilmington, N.C., and made nearly identical comments, encouraging them to send in their ballot “and then go in and vote.”

“So send it in early and then go and vote,” Trump said. “You can’t let them take your vote away; these people are playing dirty politics. So if you have an absentee ballot . . . you send it in, but I’d check it, follow it and go vote.”

Trump’s comments Wednesday generated enough confusion that the N.C. Board of Elections issued a statement saying that it is a Class 1 felony to intentionally vote twice. The board also noted that it is illegal to solicit someone to vote twice.

Separately, Facebook announced that it would delete a video of Trump’s original comments.

“This video violates our policies prohibiting voter fraud and we will remove it unless it is shared to correct the record,” the company said in a statement.

I don't care what Trump says about the safety of a vaccine. I will ignore what he says either way because he lies constantly. If most doctors I know are taking the vaccine themselves and advising others to take, I will take it. If most doctors are waiting, I will wait.

In other words, I won't avoid taking a vaccine just because Trump says it is safe. I just won't take his statements into account one way or other.

Isn't that the only sensible approach?

No hyperbole meant there. The rigours of this election cycle and probably the fear of losing and facing some justice would have to weigh heavy on him. He is all in on this election. Given another mandate Barr will likely be able to bury most of the worst cases against him. Yes many State actions would continue but historically many of those end in large fines and settlements and not fines.

Even if we had Trump on tape saying all of those things (and some of the stuff he says about McCain is), you might be "bothered", but you would still vote for him, right?
