It is concerning that JSP was almost completely eradicated but under the new regime is now spreading faster than ever.

Watching a Trump press hearing is surreal. After concluding his 5+ minute infomercial about hydroxy (including a lot of personal stories of it) and zinc (the guy who was going on and on about zinc here months ago will be thrilled) he smoothly transitioned into a long ramble wondering why Fauci has good approval ratings but he does not.

At least his suit is not tan.

Can't just ban the people you don't agree with, marky. Iirc that was the original problem.

You can ignore them or not address them, though. But you know that.

In the end, he is just a vile POS, but god does he expose how ****ing uneducated he is during these pressers. Just breathtakingly dumb.

I thought he was as eloquent as he could be with regard to his continued support of some random "doctor" who's positions include a belief that hydroxy is a cure for covid, and also believes that alien DNA is being used by the government and that the government is creating a vaccine to make people not be religious. Bigly concerns!

Biden must hope Trump continues these briefings.

This is a man who revels in the 'high ratings' he would get at the peak of the NYS pandemic whenever a new high death toll was hit, with stories of freezer trucks overflowing with dead, as a positive thing.

'Did you see the ratings that presser got' People really want to see me.'

He would gladly have a 9/11 type horror event hit the US every day if he could get out and speak and get good ratings as everyone tuned in to learn about the horror.

Admittedly, joe does tend to dodge a lot of questions.
I guess you're realising what the objective is by now. Amusingly in the old days it was considered an offense to even suggest what you're very reasonably trying to do now.

Anyway, I came here to posts this.

Not sure about that, but Trump is a bigly dummy, and at least he forces his people (who know he is an utter dummy) to go along with his need to showcase how much of a dummy he is at these things.

Trump is going to lose to a person who may not know what planet he is on, and thankfully Trump has been allowed to showcase what a moron he is in these things to allow that to happen.

Oh right. you can take part in massive protests, scream and spray saliva all over other people, the police etc, but you can't go to the beach and get some vitamin D because it's bad for your health. Great expert health advice that.

It wasn't that long ago either. Beaches are still closed in some places as far as I know.

Again with the same lie.

They were not recommending, prompting or inviting people to protest. Protests happen despite the desire of those in charge.

You are conflating that with Trump and Co promoting a return to normal, just getting back to normal, and hosting and putting on events.

These things do not exist in the same universe.

Just to throw some actual data into this argument about protests, it turns out that areas with large protests actually saw increases in the overall levels of social distancing and no evidence of increased spread of the virus relative to areas without protests. This is essentially due to the fact that people who weren't taking part in the protests went out less frequently and that effect more than counter-acted the potential increased spread caused by the protests.

My facts are fine. You just need help reading the big words again.

Recognizing that they ARE happening whether you would chose to have them happen now OR NOT, is not the same as recommending, prompting or inviting people.

if tomorrow, in my home town someone told me 'we are going out to protest', I would say "I don't recommend it now due to covid but I support you cause and understand the issue is important and valid'.

Again more than one thing can be true at the same time which is what you never understand in your reductionist child like views.

Dude, you are getting repeatedly caught out lying here and in the BFI corona virus thread. Maybe take a breather, take stock and dial back the obsessive posting for a while. It's not healthy.

Only time I saw people screaming and spraying saliva over the police and other people was at the protests you supported. The masked people at the BLM protests weren't doing that, thanks to the masks.

By that you mean 'keep proving you wrong and you want a break so your lies can go unchallenged', amiright?

Again if I have friends heading out to protest some injustice tomorrow, I can both support the cause and tell them to be as safe as possible with masks and social distancing, while wishing they would not go out.

That does not equate to a POTUS or authorities booking, holding and promoting events or pushing people to ignore the science and data and just start going to church, rallies, bars and other events.

Despite your desperation to equate these things, they do not equate.

There was zero hypocrisy but it takes some level of comprehension skill you you do not have to wrap your head around what is being laid out clearly for you.

You didn't see the maskless dude at the lafayette park protest literally frothing at the mouth and screaming in the face of cops then? Clearly not all BLM protesters were wearing masks. Not by a long shot.
