When the root of the problem is overcrowding the 2 ways to fix that are reducing the number of people from getting in (build a wall, punish illegals more to discourage others from coming) or getting people out quicker (hiring more judges, letting ppl in the country quicker/easier). I don’t think the lack of a wall is the problem - it is the solution to the problem of overcrowding.

Liberal policies have only caused people to abandon one city so far, but to be fair it was a thriving city who on its best day many people would say not even 50 years of liberal law could tear it down.

By the way, we are talking about overcrowding at detention centers where we hold illegal immigrants and not US housing in general.
