I am little surprised that the resigned at all, and I am quite surprised that the resigned today. I thought he would take another couple of weeks to gauge the progress of the move to impeach.

Its a matter of limiting public humiliation I guess. And while I am guessing I'm fairly certain that he was told by a Democratic leader he trusts that he would be impeached 100% of the time.

No final judgement as with Nixon.

Also no report from the NY State assembly.

And now he gets to keep the $18 million in his campaign war chest...

He will actually leave office in two weeks so I'm guessing he will get to do some things that could affect his legacy.

Wow would love to see Cuomo v. Trump in 2024, or Pelosi v. DeSantis, or Harris v. Blagojevich, Bernie v. Hannity, or American Idol winner v. Real Housewives winner, or Rodman v. Kardashian. Only if I've escaped the country, though. There could be an international TV channel dedicated to it ... something like the "Worse than the Fall of the Roman Empire Channel: Watch This!"

The chances of Cuomo winning the Democratic primary in 2024 are approximately 1 in 10,000. But sure, if Cuomo and Trump were running against each other in a general election, I would vote for Cuomo. If i had to choose between complete shitheads, i would choose the shithead with less offensive policies.

You said that Andrew Cuomo was leading Democratic presidential polls at some point in 2020. I said that wasn't true. You looked for evidence to confirm what you said, didn't find any, and posted this article instead. Does that pretty much sum it up?
