Whoever said rice is bad or low quality carbs is a f idiot. Eating too much fat and not moving is bad, not rice! It is also thrown at weddings for good fortune or I don't know exactly what reasons.

Japanese eat a lot of rice, white rice and they are outperforming US and Europeans in lifespans. So no, rice isnt bad, or carbs cant be compared to fentanyl. Everything can be bad in excess. Fentanyl is 100x stronger than heroin and does a lot of damage to your body. Rice is doing the oppsite, it is actually good for the body in moderate amounts. So these 2 are not comparable. One is a toxin the other one a carbohydrate thats been around foever.

Given the option, I'd rather have just red beans. But brown rice still considered the healthiest, just soak them in water for a very long time.

White rice doesn´t bring anything good, just empty calories, world would be better/healthier without it for sure.
