IHIV, it feels a bit like you watched a video ripping apart White Fragility or something similar and that started you down a path of concern. I sort of hope that's what it was, because the video you started this thread with is pretty weak.
I'm not going to try to argue in favour of or against CRT, because it's something I've always had a hard time pinning down with one definition all can agree on. But you seem to perhaps be hung up on some of the same things a lot of white people are. It's OK to acknowledge that we have gotten a head start in life, or at the least not been held back by the colour of our skin, or in the case of males, our gender. And that we all have biases and stereotypes we've learned, if not from our family and peers, then just from living in our society. The key is to acknowledge that and try to do better, and see if we can help break down some of those barriers for our fellow humans. If you don't want to believe that there is systemic racism through all of the western world's institutions, can you at least accept that there is in many of them? And if so, wouldn't it be a good thing to work to eliminate it? Do you believe that you have some internal biases of your own that you have grown up with? I suspect the person (of ANY colour, gender, or culture) who has absolutely no biases is rare indeed, if not non-existent. (Not seeking for you to answer any of that unless you want to - just food for thought, mostly.)
Those are the things I take out of CRT, or White Fragility, or anything else related. I read White Fragility, and while I didn't have an easy time with it, and there are a few things I might push back on, I also took a lot out of it. It's easy to sit back and pick through it, or other strong viewpoints related to CRT, and find plenty of things that make for outrageous sound bites without context. I read the book to learn things, and I did.
Really, how much energy should we put into determining whether or not every institution has racial bias, or if it's just some of them? Let's just start by fixing the most egregious examples, and go from there.

What is it, specifically, that you're concerned 10 year old children are being/going to be taught? Sincere question.
In recent years, there has been concern in many communities about teaching around LGBTQ+ acceptance. Here in BC, it's "SOGI 123" (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) as part of the curriculum. Of course a lot of the loudest voices against this are homophobes/transphobes, but there are others who simply don't understand what children are being taught - often because of the propaganda from the first group. I suspect it could be much the same with CRT - people who have no ****ing idea what is going on in schools spreading their nonsense about all the horrible things kids are being taught. Sometimes because they don't know any better, and sometimes because they don't care to.

What does this look like? Are people being force to learn or agree with CRT in order to get a job?
