Not really. Share of democrats calling themselves liberal has almost doubled over the last 20 years and a record number of voters chose democratic candidates in 2018 and 2020, not just vs Trump but in the house. And the republican white grievance strategy is costing them college educated whites which has been a plus demo for them for 40+ years.

I'm pretty sure he means liberals like him, the true liberals, who most Americans call libertarians. They're already all in on Trump.

Go see how "defund the police" played during election time. All those gains are from moderate liberals.

The debate has caused a partisan split on the issue of critical race theory, with 86% of Democrats expressing a favorable view of the theory, compared to 6% of Republicans. The poll revealed that independents were more likely to side with the GOP, with 20% expressing a favorable view of critical race theory, compared to 76% with an unfavorable view.
You don't have Trump to beat up on anymore.

But Republicans are playing things the exact opposite way of trying to appeal to independents. Biden and congressional dems are not talking about critical race theory. Prominent republicans are pushing the big lie. Freaking Brian Kemp has to worry about a primary challenge from the right. That's why generic ballot polling right now is D+6 when normally with full dem control of government republicans would be up by that much.

Yeah, I'm not too happy with the GOP either, but push comes the shove, people are going to back the party that backs free speech.

And yes, that was a little black dialect Rush threw in there, just to be clear

How does that help Republicans? They threw a hissy fit over Kaepernick. Trump was very much anti-free speech, more than any POTUS in a 100 years and the Republican standard view followed him in that direction.

I'm not arguing against anyone at the moment. But, if you could, check their website out and see if you buy into the stuff cause I'm not woke enough, and am actually a little skeptical of that particular Twitter account and webpage. I'm not sure they're authentic.

He's obviously not attacking an ideology because he's specifically mentioning a person there, Crenshaw, and taking what would be pretty neutral language about a reckoning and imputing it with violent intent. Limbaugh did the same thing with Obama and it's a petty standard trope to hype up white identity by casting any kind of black achievement or black disagreement about the status quo as a kind of the mask slipping that their true desire is revenge on the white man.

Well, Lindsey, along with two other people, orchestrated the grievance studies affair. He's been calling b******* on critical race theory since at least 2018. He knows their ideology enough to get published in their journals, multiple times.

He's made similar remarks about Robin DeAngelo, and many other critical race theorists.

Remember these people are racist, if the term hasn't been redefined away from racial discrimination.
