You realize that without significant testing and tracking and tracing there are not really many if any businesses that should be opened in every phase.

The first step in all this is blindingly clear. Why do so many want to side step it? Do people really think it is reasonable the United States can’t produce more than 150,000 tests a day?

Deciding what could and could not open is focusing on the wrong thing.

Testing, testing, testing.

Smoke can be "medicinal".

Liquor, it is very dangerous for alcoholics to detox without supervision. They can go in cardiac arrest if they attempt to go cold turkey.

I have some old "Medical" Alcohol scripts from back during Prohibition. There was also Sacramental/Religious use--some wineries operated for that purpose. MMJ doesn't sound so silly by comparison eh?

They look like car titles. Take 1oz as needed

My understanding is that physical symptoms from alcohol withdrawal require serious benders where you're basically drinking for days on end and that like 98% of alcoholism is of a psychological nature. Not saying that the 2% don't matter or that liquor stores should be closed, but it's only a very small subset of alcoholics who need to worry about going cold turkey.

I might go into cardiac arrest without a haircut.

(Not really. Maybe a severe panic attack, but not cardiac arrest.)

Pennsylvania finally opened golf. Brian Kemp shamed them into finally moving towards common sense solutions!

He is probably referring to the data that over 80% of people who play golf are white, but to be fair - your sample size of 1 does break away from those statistics, so well done on that accomplishment.

80% white doesn't necessarily mean 20% black.

I'm sure that way less than 12% of golfers are black.

About 5% are currently, even with the Tiger Woods effect. As it states in the Wiki article

According to the article Where are all the black golfers? Nearly two decades after Tiger Woods’ arrival, golf still struggles to attract minorities, As of 2013 there were 25.7 million golfers which are composed of 20.3 million whites, 3.1 million Hispanics, 1.3 million African-Americans, and 1 million Asian-Americans. The lack of diversity is still very apparent in golf today.

Golf is certainly a white dude activity, but whether that was a factor in the choice to open it is a topic that you fine folk can debate in your special way.

All the best.

Are there ANY sports that are diverse?

Ice hockey is almost 100% white.

Pro basketball is about 87% black.

Baseball probably the most diverse.
