There will be more studies on this as more data comes in, but I doubt that will do much to change the mind of those who refuse to believe this is what it is. Just look at the cast of characters - one keeps chanting no hospitals are in trouble and can just staff up as hospitals get in trouble. Another just tosses it all aside as complete nonsense, because if you cannot see it how can it hurt you.

Why would people like that care about actual studies done? Perhaps if they actually get it and are hit hard by it they might have a bit of an epiphany, but even that I would put at low odds. A pandemic is annoying because people like that should be dismissed and ignored, but as humans they can be the ones that infect others, and unfortunately that cannot be as easily ignored.

What do you consider a large portion, and what do you consider "long term" in a disease that's only existed for about 8 months?
