I didn't know where to post this, but what is a better way to make a living Profession Chess or Poker?

Poker you could go through downswings because of luck factor.

Chess is like 99.9% skill so there is little to no down swing if you lose it's because you played bad or your opponent was just better.

Which one would you suggest as a career?

Poker doesn't require you to start at the age of 6.

Become a poker player, where you are basically a parasite who lives on the excesses and wealth disparity that could only exist in a Capitalistic society; and then declare yourself a Marxist. I think this is how it is normally done.
