Actually I think I'll call it an insurrection.
in·sur·rec·tion
/ˌinsəˈrekSH(ə)n/
noun
a violent uprising against an authority or government.
It was:
1) violent
2) an uprising against an authority or government.
I have no idea what is so hard to understand here.
Further, I will continue to say that Donald Trump engaged in insurrection, as that was found to be true in a court of law during a trial meant to determine that fact; a trial in which Trump was represented by a defense team, which, as you might suspect, indeed attempted to defend him from this accusation.
"After permitting President Trump and the Colorado Republican State Central Committee (“CRSCC”; collectively, “Intervenors”) to intervene in the action below, the district court conducted a five-day trial. Thecourt found by clear and convincing evidence that President Trump engaged in insurrection as those terms are used in Section Three. Anderson v. Griswold, No. 23CV32577, ¶¶241, 298(Dist. Ct., City & Cnty. of Denver, Nov. 17, 2023). "

This finding was affirmed by a state supreme court:

...and has not been reversed or even challenged since.
