Customized selfie sticks were their downfall.

For the mentally challenged guy from Michigan that got tons of time for the Whitmer thing then ya. Bc all the mentally challenged entrapped supposed terrorists that got life is ****ed up too.

Entrapment seems to be the FBI's main function these days.

Yeah, entrapment. These guys obviously would have just stayed home if it weren't for the FBI spinning their web, lmao.

Come on. Don't be silly. They would have missed their guided tour of the Capitol if they had stayed home.

Indeed. Fortunately, a good number of police put Trump in front of their jobs and provided guided tours of the Capitol. Unfortunately, they were too stupid to realize that if someone doesn't prevent you from breaking the law, you still broke the law.

Think of it like this, they are just getting guided tours of prisons now.

Was this your open for the public?

Were the guards coerced into doing this?

The result of this is that he is a monster. He is incapable of being a good person because there is zero good in him.

If he wins the Presidency (he won't but will claim he did or was cheated or whatever and all hell will break loose when he releases his mob of Trumptarted derps on the country), he will not stop. He will try to take over the entire world. His psyche will make him. He must always be strong and conquering and winning.

Anyone voting for Trump is voting for the US government, and thus the US, to be dismantled.

Well yeah, do stupid stuff and win stupid prizes. I never said they were geniuses. But 18 years is pretty excessive for doing what amounted to little more than a stroll around the Capitol while unarmed and not engaging in any violence.

I always wonder if these "stroll around the Capitol" apologists actually believe their drivel or if they are just trying to convince a few weak-minded people that, "Hey, it wasn't that bad. What's the big deal?".

Well if they were smart they would have just reserved their protests to BLM and Trans Issues than they could get away with pretty much anything .

Sadly you have to take some personal responsibility for trespassing on the capital building . Hopefully for many the only chance of a shortened sentence is a pardon

My bet is they had a knee jerk reaction to the news and just won't admit they were wrong about something. I thought it was the news exaggerating like always then I learned it wasn't. I'm like a scientist.

Oh, I think I've got a pretty good handle on him. I wonder about others spewing this nonsense - like certain elected officials - running loose in the wild.

Many think it's a failed state under the Democrats . You seemed to survive 4 years of Trump and if Trump is the threat you say he is your answer is an 80 year old a majority of his own party doesnt want . We're are the Michelle Obama's to save the country

They can think that if they like, just seems foolish to elect Trump if you're worried the US is a failed state. (Why vote at all then?) The presumptive Democratic nominee has not made it clear that he intends to dismantle the government. Trump surrounds himself with people who want to do exactly that (SteveBannon). And Trump is a narcissistic sociopath incapable of empathy, love, joy, being honest or putting the needs of someone/something above his own. Such a person should not be put in charge of anything.

Just because one survives something doesn't mean everything was OK or is headed in the right direction or out of perilous danger. As notable NeverTrumper DavidFrum wisely stated early in Trump's awful Presidency, "There are a lot of stops on the railroad of bad before you get to HitlerStation." Just because we haven't reached HitlerStation yet doesn't mean we're not headed there. Duh.

Trump is a unique threat. A special case. He is a force of nature. Today there are stories out there about how DeSantis is more dangerous than Trump. That is absurd. I would vote for DeSantis if I knew he'd beat Trump. In a second. Trump is a monster. An actual monster. Once he's out of American political life, things will be much better.

I don't have an opinion on Michelle Obama. You obviously do.

Trump kept his dictatorship proclivities under wraps as much as he could when he felt he needed to run for re-election, but he telegraphed it very clearly. If re-elected with four years to get the job done, he will go full out on it.

If elected in 2024, there is a 0% chance Trump would leave quietly and peacefully in 2028. And everyone knows it, even and especially his supporters.

I agree and my question still remains the balance of democracy is about to fall ( no pun intended with the current Presidents many falls) and your best candidate is Joe Biden . Though I hear Trump is Hitler and Desantis is worse than Hitler, Tom Scott is a racist

You taking the piss? Several people died and pipe bombs were planted. That's some stroll. And such strolling is pretty much going to guarantee stiff prison sentences.
