I'm not sure those elections will have any impact on public sentiment in the UK. The kind of people who follow those things already have fairly fixed ideas about Brexit. Basically the longer the UK is out, the more the EU looks like some random foreign country whose internal politics we don't follow closely.
I'm also not really expecting big upsets in either of those elections - and if there are it's not clear in what direction it would move sentiment. So if a eurosceptic far-right candidate like Le Pen wins the presidency does that make the EU more attractive (as it would be less integrationist) or less attractive (as it would underline what a shitshow it is)?
