Results don't get released until Sunday evening when presumably we get them all in one hit.

That's not our usual election night fun

There's no reason Remainers should favour the Lib Dems. I'm voting Green.

There's some app out that indicates best way to vote tactically for remainers, I'll see if I can find the link

There is a reason and it's the reason I will be voting lib dem not green who would be my preference otherwise (or chuk).

This is not just about MEPs or vote share for remain camps. There is an epic political battle ahead and the Lib Dems are the clear one of those three that have the political organisation and heft. A resurgent Lib Dems could make all the difference - they might well even hold the balance of power after the next GE with the brexit prize still up for grabs.

The greens doing ok isn't going to make the difference that a great result for the libs dem might.

i think we're probably looking at a much better result for the Greens than "ok", and I'll assume you know that and are just clowning around.

Currently the last seat on offer in London looks to be requiring about 8.5%. Lib Dems (8%) taking a seat of the Brexit mob (8.67%) is far more likely than Change picking up their first. In fact from the Yougov it seems Change is the least likely remain party to pick up any London seat.

This is what the fight for communism has come down to, milkshakes. Maybe they should have used this powerful weapon in the Russian Revolution. There would have clearly been less casualties, if any at all.

It's not new. John Major was egged, Michael Heseltine was painted etc etc

Probably helped Major win that election. Not sure there's any evidence it does any good to the throwing side although it is funny at times so maybe the good cheer helps.

You'd have to be insane to want to take over the Conservative party right now. So I'm expecting a pretty big field.

Congratulations. I figure the chances of yellow vest style riots before year end at ~50%. Either b/c of A50 revocation or no deal. More likely the latter.

There won't be rioting over no deal. Just tutting and angry tea drinking.

Resigning after the latest polls is the obvious reaction in order to push the random button. What else could she do? After tomorrow she would be gone anways. Propaganda failed just once again, like propaganda has failed over the last three years. People are simply fed up with these obvious attempts of manipulation.

I'd like it. (Well next leader of tories/PM anyway)

But in two minds about how many UK centric threads we should have given there's only a few of us.
