Black Lives Matter cannot be supported until Black Lives Matter cannot be supported until

They speak out on Fidel Castro. They worship the man. A evil tyrant.

I have a good friend who is Cuban American. His family came over on the Freedom Flights.

His mother saw her brother murdered by Fidel Castro.

Until Black Lives Matter speaks out against Fidel Castro, and all dictators, they have no credibility.

All businesses that support BLM should be immediately boycotted.

If BLM wants to call out Fidel Castro for the murderous slime that he was, I will rethink my opinion. Until that occurs, BLM, must be recognized as a Marxist organization that supports murderers.

A+ OP, here is a list of other dead communists they need to speak out against:

- Vladimir Lenin
- Joseph Stalin
- Leon Trotsky
- Mao Zedong
- Pol Pot
- Friedrich Engels

and, of course
- Karl Marx

Yeah same. Until then we can both agree that their cause is right, and together we'll set up an organisation with the same ends that acts in the same way other than speaking out about fidel.

Looking forward to it

So we shouldn't support the GOP until the renounce war criminals like Bush and Chenney ?

Just wondering.

OP, I feel I can't really get behind libertarianism until you denounce the atrocities committed by Genghis Khan. Oh, and also, Caligula.

That would be a good start.

Black Lives Matter is an evil organization no matter who they denounce.

One of their stated goals (on their website) is "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure..."

Its really important to not conflate Black Lives Matter the movement and Black Lives Matter the organisation.

For the longest time whenever I would read BLM my first thought would be 'Bureau of Land Management'. I'm at least past that now so baby steps still.

I missed that.

I admit they seem to be a bit too scattered reading through their website.
Best to focus on the police force issues and not water your movement down.

It's an important issue. There's no use mixing things in with it, to accomplish any meaningful change will be hard enough.

Isn't the nuclear family already quite disrupted?

That is correct.

In America, the greatest disruption of the Black nuclear family was a result of well-intended yet disastrous welfare initiatives pushed by White liberals in the 1960's.

I doubt anything that LBJ was a part of had good intentions behind it.
Which is to say that blacks have been deliberately targeted. I don't think they took a timeout to try to help in the 60s.

This does seem the likeliest eventuality and outcome, respectively.

Really good clip from pretty much the greatest show all of time (either that or Battlestar Galatica).

When it comes to dictators, Putin is worse than Castro by an order of magnitude. But Trump, and of course Smudger, worship him unabashedly. Any notions on why?
07-22-2020 , 12:07 PM
Damn that Castro giving universal health care to his people

I never got into Star Trek. I'm an 80s child so it was quite a bit before my time. I tried some of the reruns because I'm a fan of sci-fi in general, but it never appealed to me too much.
