It's also spilling out into more general opposition. Before there was sort of two main touch points that were reasonable enough positions that many held: opposition to trans women in elite sports and opposition to surgical interventions in young teens. But it is more than that now.
I don't know how many people you think are "anti-trans", but I would imagine the reality is close to 10% of how many you think. Very few people are anti-trans, but a lot are against trans in sports or kids transitioning and some people who are protesting those 2 issues your brain is telling you are anti-trans. I'm sure most of the anti-trans people started off hating adults encouraging kids to transition and they hated that women's sports were being ruined and it just drug over to being anti-trans. If trans people said we shouldn't transition kids and trans shouldn't play in sports the anti-trans protests and what not would stop overnight.
I haven't watched what is a women, but I saw a commercial for it a while ago. I think it is a super interesting topic for a documentary, but I don't know how well it was executed.
I'm not sure why everyone is sharing what women's sports they watch, but I like watch random sports from my favorite college and some of those are women's sports. I also watched nearly every single US women's national team game for 10-ish years plus a decent amount of other women's international soccer, but I stopped a couple years ago and haven't watched since. I may watch the world cup though.
