It'll be an interesting time in American politics and "race-relations" if both parties decide that if they want to win, that they need to outflank the other on race. And there's a good chance Biden with his age declines to run in 2024 thus making Harris the presumptive nominee.
But a black GOP nominee is not (contrary perhaps to what a lot of people here will think) something that is out of the question. There would seem to be a market for it and it would be a way for the GOP to repudiate its image some.
But I also don't think the ability of the democrats to call anyone and everyone a racist should be discounted either. They could probably find a way with Scott and are already trying.
