To tack on my earlier post, the other thing concerning me is that it looks extremely tough for Harris to add votes while extremely easy to lose them. Trump could see a new set of criminal charges pop up or any number of things and stay reasonably in it but Harris could tumble with just about anything. I'll at least presume she isn't keeping any email servers at her home but just about any Whatevergate that sticks could easily sink her.

Yeaaaah but it was a long trip, not just looking at Mechanicsburg. It could be that conservatives own more houses are and just really into signs, but I'm just saying it was more lopsided than I would have expected even with the assumptions about the areas being more or less in line with Carville. I'm used to that we have some isolated parts of NJ that are like that too

I don't think Dems are happy about their overall chances, which seem to be roughly a coin flip. They're just relieved and hopeful because they somehow managed to pry Biden off the ticket and replace him with an electable candidate.
