100,000 protest votes in MI does seem like a problem.

I think both primaries showed problems for both candidates to be honest but when the margin of Victory for the Dems was just over 100,000 in 2020 this has to be concerning when folks will go out and vote non committed .

I think it will be very interesting to see how many Haley voters stay home rather than go out and vote for Trump. Normally a candidate tries not to totally alienate the other candidates supporters during primary season. But in this case, Trump went out of his way to say that anyone who supports Haley is not wanted or allowed in the MAGA party. If a large number of the 300k who voted for Haley in MI take him at his word, they may not show up at all.

Kari Lake in AZ tried that same approach by saying she didnt need or want any McCain republicans voting for her. She got her wish.

I don't think Trump's rhetoric toward Haley matters much. Some people who voted for her in the primaries are Democrats and some are never Trump Republicans. But I would be surprised if there were many voters in the Republican primaries who were willing to vote Trump in the general only so long as he treated their preferred candidate respectfully.

Id bet many of those 100K plus will still vote for him just as will Hikki voters vote for Trump

Lets not forget how his border policies encourage trafficking of children as well. Though he is heading to Brownsville Texas which had 48 illegal crossings this week .
