Opposing military assistance to Ukraine is not an anti-war position.
At best (and this is really a far more flattering light than it merits), you could see it as a pacifist position.
Doing what some Republicans and Trump does and praise Putin, the Russian military and their invasion is neither, that just makes you the modern day equivalent of these guys:
As for the debate of Zelensky, he responds to statements about what his Ukraine should do and policy signals that would doom his nation. Those statements were made because Zelensky
has to respond. His actual response is, as is the norm in American politics, irrelevant. What matters is how it can be painted. Those who started the ball rolling and awaited Zelensky's response
wants this to be political and they want it to play in the election. Don't be naive.
