As much as I want Fl Gov Ron DeSantis to lose, he will mop the floor with Dem opponent Charlie Crist.
Early prediction: Double digit DeSantis win in November.
It was close, but Paladino proved to be too radical in GOP race
emailed bestiality porn and racist memes to professional colleagues,
ahead of a successful Republican gubernatorial primary campaign in 2010
interview Paladino did last year in which he said that Adolf Hitler was “the kind of leader we need today,”
Paladino also said that Attorney General Merrick Garland “probably should be executed”
Paladino’s radicalism proved to be a bit too much for
Republican voters in his district, and he lost yesterday’s primary.
On the other hand, the bad news is he received more than 47 percent of the vote.
Paladino has not yet conceded, and a campaign spokesperson claimed
without proof that there were “statistical irregularities” in the election results.
In too much of the GOP, this is becoming a standard response to election defeats.

I agree that DeSantis probably wins but Rubio might be in some trouble this election. Early polls are pointing to a close race that should be an easy +10 Rubio win. With Pollsters missing bad last night in NY-19[for once pollsters way overstated GOP support] I'm sure some insiders are starting to worry.
Florida has convinced spanish speaking residents that there part of the white supremacist republican coalition now.
I just have a gut feeling that Rubio is going to be in a tight one this time in Florida. GOP is preparing for a tight race in Ohio and that should be close to a plus 10 GOP race.
The big polling misses last night in NY-19 is just another piece of evidence there are going to be some tight races that common wisdom says not.
Sore-loser Laura Loomer tells her MAGA base not to vote Republican.
Laura Loomer, is as vile as they come.
But because Loomer is encouraging her supporters not to vote for the
GOP nominee in the general election, she may just be the Democrats’ best weapon...
For those lucky enough to not know who Loomer is, she’s a one-stop shop for bigotry.
She has dubbed herself a “proud Islamophobe" and has backed it up
with a slew of hate-filled comments about Muslims being “savages.”
On a podcast hosted by a white nationalist, she declared, “I’m going to fight for white people”

I don't agree on Rubio, but you're right that the GOP is worried about this cycle given they're plowing a bunch of money to prop up Vance against a non incumbent in Ohio rather than using it in AZ/NV.
im hesitant to think the senate races in OH, PA, GA, or AZ matter much on a larger scale.
they republicans ended up with some truly unredeemable candidates in those races.
I think that is a larger scale issue. Are republican primary voters so extreme and out of touch that they are not capable of nominating decent candidates anymore? Democrats don't seem to have the same problem. Whats even more scary for Republicans is their bland candidates like Martha McSally and Kelly Loeffler lost as well. So I'm not sure what they can really do.

The best thing they could do is not have primaries. Have the list of candidates and have a Mitch or a the RNC select the best candidate . Yeah Yeah I know it never will happen.
An organization backing Herschel Walker's Senate bid seems like it's trying
to buy Black votes with gas and grocery cards, shining a light on GOP hypocrisy.
“As a small-town kid who has achieved the American Dream,
Herschel knows the best way to help people succeed is
not to give them a handout but to teach them how to fish."
the group was targeting African Americans with the giveaways
All 3 New Hampshire MAGAt candidates advanced to the midterm elections.
Bolduc for Senate
Leavitt for NH-1
Burns for NH-2
All 3 claim the election was stolen from the nyc conman.
All three have numerous insane political positions.
I doubt anyone of them will win come November 8, 2022

Isnt Bolduc one of the candidates the Dems through a lot of money at
I was shocked to hear the DNC donated over 50 million to the nut jobs of the GOP ( on the fence about the strategy)
Republican candidates who contested the legitimacy of that election have won
“nearly two-thirds of GOP nominations for state and federal offices with authority over elections” this year.
Allow that to sink in.
A huge majority of the candidates for positions including governor, secretary of state
and U.S. Senate, with immense power to interfere with the certification of an election,
are now headed to the general election in critical battleground states.
any wins in these areas would provide Republicans with a
disproportionately powerful foothold for contesting future elections

Yes, but for the most part when they try to do something that is against the law courts have stepped in and stopped them. example: Michigan and the GOP board that tried to stop an abortion question from hitting the ballot over "spacing"
Herschel Walker:
—Lied about owning a nonexistent company
—Lied about being an FBI agent and cop
—Lied about graduating in the top 1%
—Lied about graduating from college
—Lied about being HS valedictorian
—Lied about his secret kids Now he’s lying about the abortion he paid for.
