Don't think this type of media can be embedded here but it is well worth the click thru if you love nature and evolution adaptions to behaviour.

I think most people reflexively think the Grizzly bear wins every match but if it is a full size Siberian Tiger, he has a chance to win some encounters.

The tiger gives up size and weight but makes up for that with speed and agility.

The Siberian tiger, a subspecies of tiger, is the largest cat in the world. ...Adult male Siberian tigers can weigh up to 320 kg (700 lb.)...

Grizzly bears ... The males ... can weigh up to 1,700 pounds (770 kilograms). cite

This analysis puts the Tiger winning most encounters (due to Tigers hunting many types of bears) but I don't agree with that as the Grizzly like the Polar bear is a special kind of beast. I think if the Tiger has room to maneuver he can kill the grizzly but in most cases would take so much damage he would die himself. I think the grizzly can deliver a killing blow while avoiding enough damage to die himself, most times.

Compare Grizzly Bear vs Siberian Tiger

Yeah, tiger is the only animal I could think of that could possibly take down a grizzly. I guess if they wanted to fight an elephant could take the bear out.
Good points on the tiger but for sure the grizzly is going to have a punchers chance.

I don't know how anyone could watch that and interpret it as a threat to nuke Americans, and then go on to somehow miss the obvious dementia.

I'm sure there was an episode of QI where they talked about the old coliseums and how they mostly fought animals rather than people. Supposedly nothing ever beat the bear. I haven't fact checked any of that but Stephen Fry wouldn't lie to me.

I think the thing comes down to how much damage they can both do and receive. And then with a grizzly they're so goddamn padded, don't have a weak point, and can pull things apart or crush them. How much damage can a tiger do before a full size grizzly has torn it apart? Bears have loose skin for when they fight each other so can the tiger on its own take it down in a fair fight?

I wonder how a rhino or a hippo would do in terms of taking damage, but aside from charging stuff their fighting ability is limited.

Yeah the thick skin of the bear offers good protection but I think it can be out maneuvered enough that could put it as a slight dog in the fight.

Nothing except maybe an elephant is taking a rhino out but I also don't think a rhino is necessarily taking anything else out so it's probably a stalemate.

Ya space to operate and ability to engage, disengage and use stealth would all matter. Any confined space will favor the grizzly which is already the favorite.

Bears are just designed to take enormous damage and survive. Not quite Honey Badger or Wolverine level damage but not far off.

Similarly rhino's are one of the only true threats to the elephant but they mostly kill elephants when the elephant is not yet sure he is in a fight and the rhino impales him broad side. A full facing elephant ready to fight wins 10 of 10 times.

I am surprised, in all the hours of animal shows i have watched that hippo and rhino conflicts seem so rare. You see Hippo's trying to pick fights with rhino's but they rarely respond despite an ability to dominate the hippo. But rhino's are generally chill and being they are ever moving grazers who have always ceded ground to elephants they seem less likely to get in fights over territory. Hippo's are truly d*cks but having to protect a water source, I guess, has necessitated that.

Yeah, it's kind of the opposite of what you expect. Hippos look like big dopy looking bastards but charge and crush anything that annoys them, rhinos look like killing machines but spend their life moping around eating leaves.

I hate to say "what about Trump" but when no one who seems to complain now cared about Trumps much worse 'obvious signs of dementia' I tend to dismiss this type of complaint.

Pretty sure hippos kill more people in Africa than any other mammal.

I did think she is brit or aussie. But for being an Aussie her accent is not thick enough. So I put my money on british. Not too much money though.

I didn't listen, don't know anything about this thread-- but when in doubt when you're really confused and you just can't figure out an accent-- they're South African.

Lol. I haven't listened so closely and it's of no meaning to me. Speaking of South Africa, none of this would have happened if Angelina Jodie and brad Pitt hadn't adopted 6 children from Africa, or however many children it was. They were the heroes and created a blueprint for these maniacs to become heroes.
One child is a lot to take care of but 6 is insane, especially if they were already crazy.

Btw What is the results of the big UFO report??
