How can a company have so many issues on a BBJ. It’s really odd imo
I really wouldn't even worry about it. I've been playing at BetOnline regularly since they implemented the bad beat jackpot. Dozens of jackpots have been hit in that time. I can only recall a handful of issues being brought to the attention of the public. The ratio of issues reported in comparison to players who easily cashed out should be comforting rather than worrying.
In my opinion the one where the guy was folded mid-hand mostly had to do with how quick the time to act is in the cash games on this network. Everybody who plays online games knows that lags and freezes can happen from time to time. If you don't act quickly or the lag/freeze lasts particularly long there's a much greater chance of you getting auto-folded here than on most other sites.
The other one with the kicker that didn't trigger the jackpot was most likely a result the person who wrote the rules failing to consider that scenario or a miscommunication between the person who wrote the rules and whoever is in charge of setting the requirements for the jackpot being triggered.
In both scenarios I advocated for the players being awarded the jackpot. I don't recall what happened with the latter, but the former was paid out of their pocket while leaving the current jackpot in place.

It just doesn’t make any sense. How about not let anyone play a single hand until they send in the proper documents
In a perfect world I agree that this is how it should work. Unfortunately it would result in less players depositing if they had to go through the extra hassle to get started. It makes sense why gambling sites don't want to increase the amount of obstacles in the way of getting people to their tables and placing bets.
