Coming back to the later schedule on this site is disappointing, where did the 11r go? among other tournaments (Wasn't this supposed to at least be replaced by something?)

Seems like now there is a 33R/A (which is so much higher average buy in than an 11r) - and also listed as a RE (re-entry) when it isn't..

So far since I have played on your site, you have gutted the later schedule (Sure it may be later in the night for US players, but there are other countries that exist - and they were all smashing their GTDs - I remember the last time I posted and the one of the sites representatives was saying the 11R wasn't making GTD, which was a blatant lie as it smashed the 7.5-10k GTD every day for years)
-19KO gone
-11R/A gone
-5R/A 6max gone
-5R/A 9max gone (still one there)

and the change is a 33 to a 44 and drop the GTD and add a 33 R/A (which is likely 66-100 ABI - how is this a reasonable replacement to the 11r?)

Sure some of the structures have improved, but it seems like so many sites tournament directors just force change things which clearly hit GTD, then say it will be replaced, then ends up nothing similar in the buy in range..

If you have increased traffic, and feel it is due to these changes you are wrong, it is far more likely with pokerstars and other sites ban on certain player groups (and also bots / cheaters) are flooding this site and other sites alike now those other options are not available.

Hey G-Englar,

Rest assured this feedback won't go unnoticed. I've taken your comments and sent them to the Tournaments crew for review.

There is a tournament series on the site starting this Sunday which will most likely increase their schedule for the next 2 weeks but I am told we should hopefully see some improvements on day 1 after the series.

I'll keep you guys posted as to what improvements we get coming October.

My best,
Chris

I won a satelite to to Cops #2 tournament for today and never received my tournament ticket. I have contacted customer service 5 times with no help. Can anyone help me?

If this isn't allowed. I'm sorry. Just frustrated trying to explain to customer support chat repeatedly.

Hey Useroxl5313,

Can you send me a private message with some details of the satellite you played? I'll get this resolved for you.

Thanks,
Chris

I don't really understand the logic of removing dailies in favor of series events the could coexist. Especially when the series events are often smaller.

Today:

22 and 55 removed in favor of a 33

22 and 55pko removed in favor of a 55pko

Ok cool, I get not wanting to run two 55pkos 30 minutes apart from each other, but why take off the 22 an hour before?

Tomorrow:

22 removed in favor of an 11 an hour later

22 and 55pko removed (55 was on the system up until it got removed a minute ago) in favor of a 22pko

Again, I get not wanting to run two 22s close together. But why cut the 55pko too? Especially in a meta where 22s and 55s fill perfectly fine starting 30 min apart from each other every single day.

Great site. Really ran well.

I totally agree, the schedule instead of being amazing with daily tours & COPS events together,it seems the worst ever
10-04-2022 , 08:22 AM
I am very disappointed with the poor schedule after COPS ended...The biggest tournaments are missing, like the $109 10kgtd PKO,the $55 25kgtd and many others..
Also the structure of the $215 is pathetic, you late reg after 40 mins the tour starts and u have 20bbs?One tournament you had with amazing structure(the previous pko 215) and you removed it
Mike can you tell us please what is going on?And if the daily schedule will remain this way?I am sure players that used to play only in your site, now they dont have any other option than to deposit and play elsewhere too
10-04-2022 , 11:01 AM
Why do so many of the PKO's start with 13 or 33 big blinds. Terrible structure.

It looks like there's more tournaments at the cost of bigger prize pools (at least from my memory haven't played much on BOL lately) which I actually enjoy, but the structures need some work to put it nicely.
10-04-2022 , 12:46 PM
The schedule really seems like it was made in 3 minutes. Here are the nlhe mtts, 22+, that start after 3pm east/noon pst:

4:15 109
5:00 33
8:15 215pko
8:30 33r
10:30 44
11:30 109
11:45 22 1r

There's no reason why there can't be a 22/33 every hour on the hour, and a 55/109 every other hour on the half hour, have half be reg and half be pko. That's it, that's all the schedule has to be. You can even run sats to all of them, 2 hours before run a 10%bi reg speed with 1hr late reg, 1 hour before run a 15-20% turbo with 30min late reg. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening run a $2.20 reg speed 2hr late reg that pays out a gtd of 10x $22 tickets, and an $11 one that pays out a gtd of 5x 109 tickets.

Also not a fan of the new schedule. I’m maybe in the minority here but I hate the shorter late reg on the $150k gtd and others, hoping longer late reg will be given back if it causes the numbers to decline (and I think they will, given that we’ve seen other games lose runners when the late reg has shortened).

I assume we’ll get something at some point to replace the nightly 25k?
10-04-2022 , 03:22 PM
Chris, could you please explain what happened with the new schedule? Seems very barebone and new structures are insane. 55pko for example now starts with 33bb and repeats levels. What genius came up with this idea??

Also I think COPS series showed that 22 or 33PKO starting ~6-7pm EST would be very successful, each time they got ~500 runners, would be nice to get something comparable on the permanent schedule
10-04-2022 , 04:16 PM
The non-uniformity of blind structures is crazy.

Just sat down to start a sesh. Signed up for a 22 that started 2hr ago...30bb. Signed up for a 55pko that started 30 minutes AFTER the 22...12.5bb. Why? To whom does this make any sense?
10-04-2022 , 08:21 PM
As you can see no one likes this schedule.
109 pko that was smashing guarantees gone
nightly 25k gone
the $11r/a that always seemed to have tons of runners gone
pkos that were smashing during COPs gone
i was moving more of my volume to BOL now i dont see any tournies that i even want to play
i ll be sitting out until i see improvements in the schedule
I like many others here want to see this site do well and am always willing to help if you guys need some suggestions
10-04-2022 , 08:24 PM
regged a turbo pko 20 minutes after it started running..... had 7 BBs
late reg was still available for 7 levels
10-04-2022 , 08:50 PM
Is this schedule actually permanent or will we go back to the previous schedule? What happened to the $55 25k?

While the series had some good tournaments, the previous regular schedule was better than the cops series overall. I was excited to get back to the normal schedule after Sunday. Today I logged in ready to grind and there is nothing to really play. I am just grinding acr, bodog, and gg tonight I guess.
10-04-2022 , 09:07 PM
This new schedule is seriously one of the worst flops I've seen in a long while.

The whole thing either screams absolute incompentence from BOL's tournament team, or serious lack of QA. I refuse to believe someone came up with an idea to run 15BB KO's with 2HR Late Reg, allowing 1BB registrations.

The whole thing is a mess.

$55 25K Main is gone, $11 R/A is gone, $109 PKO as well. Your largest daily event is a 7.5k GTD - WHAT?

The schedule is just poor, in comparison to any other serious network around. No coherence to it, no proper daily main events (and their mini versions), no solid PKO's outside the $55 which you managed to mess up anyway with the new structures.

Man, this is just sad. Are you actually paying these guys to create, test and run a schedule? Its a disgrace.
10-04-2022 , 09:16 PM
I'm sure they'll fix it, otherwise it feels like they're commiting suicide. Let's see what Chris has to tell us...
10-04-2022 , 10:33 PM
Agree the new schedule is bad. Bring back the $55 25K

Hi guys,

So I've taken your concerns to the Tournaments Team and I will be having a quick chat with them in the next hour or so.

Will come back to this thread to post their response.

Thanks for your patience.

Chris

Hey guys,

Thank you all for sharing your feedback and concerns. Very much appreciated by the team.

Regarding inconsistencies in the Tournaments lobby:
  • PKO tournaments with really short starting stacks: this is being amended at this very moment to offer the same playing experience you guys are used to for PKO formats.
  • Missing tournaments: there was an issue in yesterday's Daily $25,000 GTD that removed this tourney, it has been addressed and you should be able to play tonight's as usual. There were a few additional tournaments missing and we should see the regular schedule back shortly.
  • Tournament name changes: there were a few implemented (only cosmetic) in case you happen to be missing one of your regular events. Look for slight changes in the naming conventions.
  • Late registration in Sunday's $150,000 GTD: this is mainly catering to player feedback regarding long registration times. This one has been reduced slightly as of this Sunday (starting 30min later than usual too).

Finally, the last Sunday of the month (October 30th) the site will be running a $250,000 GTD event with same $109 buy-in.

Once again, thank you guys for sending your feedback, rest assured that I will be following up on all of these reports over the next few days.

My best,
Chris

right now there's 2 qualifiers ($11 8 tickets GTD) for the $55 25K. They both start way AFTER the the $55 MTT. If you wanna keep these cool, since the $55 is late reg, but how about adding 2 Qs before the the MTT as well.

I believe their goal is to make it a permanent end-of-the-month event.

Maybe slightly different date for December as the last Sunday of the month is the 25th.

Will confirm in advance if its the case for November too.

Chris
