I spoke to the Poker Ops team this morning and raised your concerns about delays in your Mystery Bounty Prizes and response time to questions. They are going to re-visit the process for these prizes and work with Customer Service agents to improve on communication. They will suspend these tourneys while all of this gets addressed.

In the meantime, if you guys feel like you are missing one of these random bounty prizes please send me your nickname on a private message and I will review it.

Chris, can we get some sort of statement/ruling on this max latereg stalling thing? I see some decent regs doing it now in certain tournaments. There are so many of them that I now have a label specifically for them. Even if these players don't know each other, is it not still collusion to all max late reg and get sat together? If this is allowed, can the structure of the tournaments be changed to discourage this (less late reg/lower % of field paid)? It's really annoying and bad for the games. They do it even after they're ITM for payjumps. If I was a recreational and got sat at one of their tables it would completely ruin the experience for me.

While I agree this is a problem on all sites it’s not collusion if they get sat at the same table. That is the sites issue. Max late reg should never all be sat at the same table yet it happens on most sites I play on. They can’t figure out how to balance the tables late in tourneys

FWIW I enjoyed the format and BOL is the first of my 4-5 playing sites to offer Mystery Bounty Tournaments. Just unfortunate that the software was unable to handle the format and that Customer Service was unwilling/unable to help with the missing bounties.

Yea these late reg/staller tables are getting a little nuts.

Can we get them spread out among the field better and not just set up at their own table where they can all stall and basically guarantee a min cash.

Its annoying to change tables and get dropped into one, even if it is basically free chips to steal. You get so few hands that I would almost rather battle vs real players.

How about we took a deep look into PKO structures and fix them? I can't be the only one struggling to comprehend how terrible they are.

Some events (ex. $11 3.5k) have a mincash that is 65-70% of the original buy-in. I just played some $11 3k that had $6.99 mincash, that is just weird.

Why can't we just copy Pokerstars or GG's bounty structures, which are superior imo? I understand the importance of first place and it being a large prize, but all the structures beyond FT are simply broken.

Did you guys really get rid of the nightly $55 25K guarantee and the $12 10K (R/A) guarantee? The schedule looks absolutely pitiful now.

Last night a few tourneys were removed from the schedule due to a maintenance window this morning so a temporary schedule was in place starting at around 7pm ET.

The regular tournament schedule should be up and running today as usual.

I believe they suspended the event due to Thanksgiving. The majority of players are US based and headcount is very low due to the celebrations.

• $2,000 Guaranteed at 6:30am ET ($5.50 buy-in)

Late registration ends roughly at 10:00am ET so you can still jump in not so early.

I've been informed there is a scheduled maintenance tomorrow Wednesday, December 1st from 1:00am ET to 6:00am ET.

This will be affecting the regular tournament schedule this evening. All running tournaments that may overlap with the maintenance period will need to be suspended and you'll notice a temporary schedule running from 7:00pm ET tonight until 7:00am ET tomorrow.

Chris -- will there ever come a time when the scheduled maintenance doesn't cancel the nighttime tournaments for Western Hemisphere players? Obviously I don't have the numbers as to where most of BOL's players are located, but I have to imagine a large portion come from the US and Brazil, most of whom are affected by the site going down at 1:00am ET (thus canceling even the 7:30pm $55). Just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to cancel some of the biggest tournaments of the day.

Hi guys,

I just learned the maintenance window had to be cancelled and tournaments ran as normal last night.

What I understand is that some of these maintenance windows are performed to main servers to upgrade other products of the company too (i.e. Site, Sportsbook, Casino, etc.) and although it is not a "poker upgrade", it affects the platform directly. These are schedule during low traffic hours but the difference with poker server is the fact that they can't have any running tournaments during the maintenance period.

I believe this has been discussed previously and they are trying to work on a solution to avoid this scenario.

Will keep you guys posted.

Hey Chris -- thanks for responding to this. I can't speak to whether or not the maintenance window actually happened, but all of the normal tournaments were canceled that night, so I'm not sure why you think they ran as normal. All I saw were 120-minute tournaments (with a max of only $22 buy-in for some reason).

I was told the temporary tourneys were up but then replaced with the regular schedule at some point in the late evening but I was not online to verify. Will confirm that for my personal records, thanks! I've been sharing a lot of feedback pertaining to the maintenance periods and how it affects their main tourneys so hopefully this will improve in the near future.

I am told this downtime will not affect tonight's $25,000 GTD at 7:30pm ET

As they get closer to the downtime there will be a few tournaments that will get suspended but once the update finishes the regular schedule will resume as normal.

im having trouble getting the poker client to launch. is the update still in progress?

Are you using 3rd party software? The latest update has affected some 3rd party software. If you're using 3rd party software you'll have to wait for the 3rd party software provider to put out an update or else open the client without it.

Odds that they get the tournament cancellation correct tonight? I was 4/28 in the $25 $7.5k.

I was having connection issues, and it seemed like everyone was having connection issues. A message pops up on the table that tournaments are cancelled, and that refunds will process along T&C. That was my only BOL tournament and I wasn't planning on regging anymore if they got things back up, so I closed the software to focus on WPN and Ignition. A little while later, I log in to see if payouts have processed only to have the table pop back up and find out I'm now 11/13 with 6.6 bigs remaining. WTF?

I then bust in 12th place and receive 12th place money for $97. Based on my calculation I should have received roughly $350 using the T&C calculation.

I hope this will be made right, but I have zero faith after seeing some of the other issues throughout the years of playing on this site. The only two options are to remove those payouts from player accounts or to pay out of pocket, and both seem unlikely.
