Sure, I can probably think of a lot more, but just off the top of my head...

1. Recs like to know that they're playing against humans.
A common example I come across is when they ask in chat "is everybody here bots?" and when nobody answers they often leave much quicker than when you start chatting with them.

2. Imagine playing live poker where people are told to never talk at the tables, do you think recs would enjoy that?

3. Some regs don't check if they played an even amount of buttons at a cash table when a table breaks and it got HU.
Without chat you can't ask the reg to sit back in to play one more hand.

4. Cash tables don't close automatically when there are multiple inactive tables open.
Without chat you can't ask the regs keeping extra inactive tables open to close them.

5. A little trash talking, as long as it's not abusive, homophobic or racist, is actually pretty fun and can often make the games better.

6. You can often get reads off of people in chat as to whether they're tilting.
Why would you want to take that away?

Again, as was suggested earlier, if you find that reading the chat is not enjoyable for you then you have the option to disable it in the settings menu. If you find that some players are too toxic for you when they chat then you have the option to mute them by clicking on their nickname/avatar. Eliminating the option to chat for the people who enjoy it and find it beneficial, just because you can't be bothered to alter your settings, is a terrible idea!

Please fix the aspect ratio back to how it is used to be!

+- bet slider buttons are gone? That seems like a pretty fundamental thing to have, so hopefully that's just an oversight that can be remedied relatively easily and not a deliberate design choice.

Hey - would like to jump in and unlike most opinions here (it seems) I absolutely love the new Software Updates.
Agree though, having Chat Window not up by Default has resulted in much lower Chat frequency of Recs (which I believe they enjoy)

I just played a little bit to get a feel for the new software.

While I don't have a problem with adding more theme options my issue is why weren't the issues with the client addressed first?

• Betting from the blinds preflop still adds a SB or BB into your bet depending on which of those positions you are in.
• Were the postflop raise calculations corrected?
• Was posting your blind outside of the BB when you first sit down at a table corrected when wait until BB is selected in the options menu?
• An option to opt out of MTT notifications implemented?

There are hundreds of posts in this thread alone with feature requests and software improvement suggestions that have mostly gone ignored over the last few years. I don't recall seeing anybody clamoring for a major change in the look of the tables.

Regarding the recent update...
I'm using the Edge theme as it allowed me to keep my tables looking the most like how I had them previously. The following are the issues I was able to identify while using that theme.

1. Selecting not to upgrade to the new theme didn't work when first prompted.

2. It's too hard to tell when players are sitting out, I couldn't tell at all.

3. The aspect ratio makes the windows too tall and squeezed in on the sides with plenty of unnecessary extra space on the top and bottom of the tables.

4. The bet button text is too small and transparent. Please make them bigger and add a background.

5. Please leave an option for the chat box to stay out in the bottom left like it used to be. Having to pop it out over the table or to the left or right of the window is not as ideal.

6. Please add the +- bet slider buttons back.

7. The hand number in the top right and being vertical seems dumb. Please move it back to the top left or remove it all together since you can find it in the bottom left buttons.

8. The bonus button in the top right seems unnecessary. Just highlight it in the lobby when there's something in there.

9. While I probably won't be using the Move theme anytime soon I agree that spades should be in black and not orange.

Overall love the new update, esp the move theme. I dont mind the chat being out of view and dont really think there needs to be +- on the bet slider, think it works fine how it is. Only complaint is the 4 color deck. spades should be black.

Please add an option to use tournament dollars together with cash.

This. I’ve had random TM in my account for what seems like forever, and it’s highly limited to what tournaments it can even be used on. Open it up to be used for any MTT as well as letting it be used in combo with deposited money.

TM should be enabled for any real money tournament, including Sit & Goes and Windfalls. Should be a valid currency for all tourneys.

The option to use multiple currencies to purchase buy-ins for tourneys (cash & TM) is a request that has been escalated to Poker Team, hopefully it will be added very soon.

You should definitely make chat visible immediately on the table, now I feel like chatting dropped off like 90%.

This has been a huge issue forever for me and countless times I've sent logs to your support and explained the problem to them as accurately as possible and they respond back to me with gibberish most of the time and I don't bother to follow up. It's definitely still there in this new update.

On positive feedback the new update does look much cleaner aside from the very strange table aspect ratio I think it's a improvement overall.

So I want to also express that the support is helpful at times and the deposit/withdrawal times are amazing on BetOnline. I don't really know why the issue above has never been resolved but I do appreciate their help with other things.

Also, I've reinstalled the client many times hoping it would fix that SB/BB issue but it always been there. In MTTs I can handle it but the other night I tried playing some shorter handed cash games and your lottery format SnGs and it was a real pain to think about it in those games as there were alot more spots to raise out of the blinds, etc. Really appreciate it if the team can look into this issue. Thank you.

It has been an issue for a long time and has been mentioned in this forum several times. They even acknowledged it was an issue at a dedicated known issues page on their website sometime around June 2021. It still hasn't been corrected and the page on their website where it was acknowledged seems to have been deleted within the last few months for some reason.

Yep, I know MCA. I've been in contact with BetOnline Chris in the past about it and followed all the steps they've requested of me. Even did it again recently within the last few months.

They've asked me for the log files which you can generate from within the client and I've explained what I've seen visually in great detail to them when sending the log files.

The software adds a SB if you raise or re-raise out the the SB and it adds a BB if your raise or re-raise out the BB above whatever value is showing up on the bet slider. It's also clear visually as 1.5BB shows up as a raise option out of the SB which is an invalid opening size. If you submit that bet it will put 2BB in the middle.

I opened a new account in Betonline, but can't login. When I start the software I get this error
I'm located in Latvia. If I use VPN everything works, but even if I login with VPN and close it after that, Betonline software disconnects as well so I'm unable to play there. Is there a fix to this? Support verified my account with an address from Latvia so I assume, you are open to Latvian players.

There is no mention of a restriction for players from Latvia in their rules page on their website. It's probably just some kind of issue in their system affecting certain regions. I would contact BetOnline Chris via private message and provide him with your account details to see if there's anything he can find out for you.

I have the same problem. Support told me it was because I am running Windows 11 with parallels, and the client doesn’t work with Windows 11. If they ever update the client to Windows 11 I’ll try again.

Since the last update, I’ve noticed that the info on players remaining in an MTT is less accurate and quick to update, at least on mobile. Used to update instantly at the table, now there’s lag and it sometimes freezes up entirely.
