They don't give a **** about the VIP cause most of their heavy grinders have RB through 3rd party affiliates. The only ones I have seen are for TigerGaming. The eastern euros already have half my cost of living and they get RB on top of that. Better options if you're a US player imo.

It was August, 2011. Senior year about to get an accounting degree. I plunked $250 down on this new site called BOL and started grinding 25NL. Damn was I bad, but it didn't matter. This was when BOL was a stand alone site. Pre Tigergaming, pre bots, pre eastern euro scumbags. The games were great. Check out some of the older threads about it. Relative unknowns making 50-100k in the 10/20 games over a few months. In about 12 months I turned that $250 into 10k. 25NL to 200NL.

I never got that accounting job.

For a promotions thread, it seems to have died off, some strange reason.

I regularly get emails about their promotions. They also usually have them located on their website. I will occasionally make a post about them, but I don't take advantage of most of them since I'm not usually looking to compete as a high volume grinder. Why it's not more regularly updated by Mike or anybody else I'm just not sure.

Pretty much. This was the most recent statement about it, which didn't do anything besides piss a lot of players off.

back to back weeks where I completed the 'missions' for the mission grinders weekly freeroll and I never received the tickets to enter the tourneys. last week I received an email apologizing for not receiving one and they would give me a ticket for this week. Of course I never received it.

It looks like most people didn't receive the ticket as there are only 12 people registered for the freeroll. The incompetence shown by bol is insane.

If a player who got banned after cheating people out of 6 figures comes back with a new account, shouldn't that be of a high priority?

I don't like the changes to the "Welcome Back" promotions you offer to players who haven't played in a while. I miss the $5000 freeroll which didn't have any requirements to enter. One of the more recent of these promotions had a bonus instead of the freeroll. Another one did have a freeroll for $10000, but you had to meet some requirements to qualify. I prefer freerolls to bonuses for this promotion.

Mike, are there any promos in the works? Maybe a return to the daily/weekly cash rake races?

PLO cash game players have had 0 promos for a couple months and we get crushed by rake.

It seems like the writing is on the wall, as BetOnline has been slashing rewards as of late, VIP points gone, SNG leaderboards gone, rake races gone, Iron Man gone, probably more I'm forgetting, and there's been nothing to replace them. It would be nice if you offered something to the players.

Sounds promising, hopefully the meetings are going better than those for VIP points.

In any case, I think all here would prefer to be given updates, good or bad, rather than kept in the dark and strung along like with the VIP points situation.

A return to something similar to the rake races (which actually gave PLO players a chance to win rewards) or a PLO high hand leaderboard would be nice. I played exclusively on BetOnline last year, and had several 150+ hour months to close out 2019, but so far this year have only played 100 hours total on your site and been spreading my play around a lot more because the complete lack of rewards for PLO players is off-putting.

I completed the challenge for event 4 but haven't received any tickets for completing the challenge. There are 22 people registered already. It starts in 17 minutes and I want to join.

It has started already and I feel like I wasted my time doing the challenges that didn't even get me into the tournament. I guess it works for some people and not others. What a joke.
