Please bring back the cash race. The current promotions are sooo bad.

Tournament tickets are not something I like to grind for.

Both tom2184 and I have also pointed out how ridiculous the current promotions are in this thread and have been met with no response from BetOnline Mike. I even quoted a post of BetOnline Mike's from like a month ago about how the promotions are being fine tuned and then using the results from the next 6 months to get something permanent in place.

Imo, it's all just talk tbh. They haven't done the rake races in a couple weeks now. They stole the VIP points and haven't reimbursed for them. They are just using stalling/evading tactics imo. It's a shame because I really like the site and the software.

Are these promotions ever going to change? In the two months I've been playing on the site, they have just gotten worse and worse. People from BOL ask for feedback, players give feedback, and nothing improves. I don't understand the point of asking for feedback when it's just going to be ignored.

The current promotion I have in my client requires you to play cash games (and take AK to showdown), 1 sit & go, and 3 Windfalls. Who is this promotion for? A cash game player, a sit & go player, or someone who just likes to gamble and plays these Windfalls?

It can't be that difficult to run decent promotions. If you can't come up with decent ideas, hop on your competitors' sites and see how they're doing it.

I think BOL/SB has a ton of potential, but there definitely need to be some serious changes to reward the people who are consistently grinding.

Zero chance I ever place some casino game. Its like a whole mishmash of stuff thrown together that neither prompts cash nor MTT players to play.

Cash players should have a LB/rake race and MTT player could have their own broken down by ABI. I'm a fan of Chico, but this is pretty juvenile stuff, win avatars next?

I also whole heatedly agree with JMicLett and a deed. Give us real promotions and not this gimmicky bs.

It auto registered me for the tournament. One first flip, lost the second.

This promotion is the stupidest one I've seen yet. I wasted $20 playing the windfalls and sng to get the stupid ticket. This is so gimmicky and lame. I can't imagine any recs would like this. Imo they shouldn't have a complete luck based tournament decide who's going to get more in promo money than others.

Then don't play them!

They've done these several times before and this is a promotion that always seems to be well liked. I know many people like that these are instant all in freerolls. Why would I want to play for hours in a freeroll with $3-$5 in value? They are doing things that are friendly to recreational players. If anything it would be the non-recs that wouldn't like this.

THE 2+2 CPC (Community Promoters Club) Everyone that's a 2+2 member as of whichever date promoting for 2+2 goes live will be instantly enrolled in the CPC, recieve a member # and a welcome bonus of $~. To receive any more of a bonus would be to yes throw things out there on social media of a specified link supplied by you that will send people to the welcoming to 2+2 landing page with why they are there, what 2+2 is all about and with the promotional beginning - ending date in bold and if they would also like to become a promoter. Have another link under that which will take them to a special sign up page that will enroll them in 2+2 as well as 2+2 CPC so they will be issued a member ID # as well as the usual personally chosen username for 2+2 regular account. ...And hey if any of my idea is taken and used may I have an added bonus? Please and thank you. As well as anyone whom is actually posting constructive ideas pertaining to your topic.

Just want you to be aware there will be other promos and possibly some rake races during December.
As BeerDrunker stated, this promotion was very well received and enjoyed last year. I understand its not for everybody which is why we are always updating and offering new promos for all our players.

On paper the promo is cool and I am sure some people it works for.
As a primarily (99%) cash game player this does not appeal to me at all.
I have no interest in playing windfalls or SNGs in general. I think it is great to promote these other formats and offer incentives, but should also have promotions of some kind for those who do not play these formats. Even a small reload bonus up to $200 or something would probably make most cash players happy.

That seems ok but a reload bonus (even a small one) would probably be better. Not only do some players not enjoy or feel comfortable in a tourney, the other thing with tourneys is everyone has to be available at the time it runs which will be a problem for many players.

Honestly, just give some type of rakeback! I get you don't wanna make it a regfest liek ACR, but give back even 10-15% is better than nothing!

We are players from all formats in here so the best we can all benefit from is a all-in ShootOut tournament for 2+2ers where nobody has to be present. Some of us will get lucky, some of us not, but every one has a fair chance.

I am sure many of you are aware but we have launched a variety of daily cash races for you guys.

$1000 top 10 NL Players
$500 top 10 PLO
$250 top 10 SNG players
$150 yop 10 Boost players

Everybody is awarded points by rake. so 1 dollar in rake is 1 point.

I am hoping there will be some for windfalls too today but not 100% as of yet.

They suck because they’re unachievable to 25-50nl players pretty much. Everyone should get an incentive to play, not just tool 10 people who can grind all day.

For SNG micro recs, like me, they are worthless.

Takes me, on average, 8 SNGs to = $1 in rake.

Cannot compete.

I'm sure it's not worth it for you to create a race for every level of play, so, um, yep.

I'd say make it weekly races with equivalent (equivalent to the daily prizes x 7 obv) and make the races into at least 2, if not 3 buy in categories. Even if that means the prizes will be relatively small, it will still give people an incentive to play, while players of different stakes have a chance of winning something.

Also, there should not be a restriction on Double or Nothing games in the SNG Leaderboard, in my opinion this restriction is totally pointless, seeing these are, along with hyper SNGs, your most popular format.

Your 25 days of poker reward is a good reward for rec players who like to have fun and gamble.

Your daily races are good for the top 10 players in each category. IOW a good reward for just the 10 players who put in the most volume.

You don't have anything for people in between, i.e. rec players who play more seriously but just a few hours per day.

Here's a suggestion: progressive rakeback, kind of like tax brackets for rakeback. For the first $50 rake you pay in a month you get nothing. For the rake between $50 and $250 that month you get 10% back. For the rake between $250 and $1000 you get 15% back. And for rake above that you get 20% back. This way you get a big reward for grinders, smaller reward for rec players, but nothing for those who just dabble.

Most of your net depositors work for a living. They don't have time to grind all day and be in the top 10. If they get a small reward somewhere else its more than they get at BOL. Your rakes are higher than elsewhere as well.
