Regardless of what happens BoL really does have good customer service and seems to be super receptive to customer feedback. Appreciate that.

It looks like I got paid money for my dollar insanity entries that were still in at the time of cancellation.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately we were not prepared to have that many players registered in a single tournament. This created an issue with the server performance, so we have had to cancel and refund the players.

We are running a 15k regular freeroll Sunday next week for all the players registered in the dollar insanity.

Kind Regards
Mike

I am still in an MTT at the 500k/1MM blind level with 15k avg chips on the stone bubble. it has been frozen since ~8pm PST last night.

How will this be resolved?

Has there always been an 8-table maximum at cash games??
07-22-2019 , 04:47 PM
I would just like to say that BOL "Mike" offered me great customer service. Yesterday was the first time I have ever had any problem with BOL. Today I woke up to see my buy ins refunded in full. This shows that BOL really does have great customer support even know live chat doesn't seem to really understand how poker works that well. Out of ACR, BOL and Ignition I would rank BOL far and above #1 for customer support. I will continue to play everyday on BOL. Thanks again Mike.

Hello Mike,

I was wondering if you could help me out with an issue that i'm having with betonline poker? I was playing in tournament #15724 on 7/21/19. It was a $30 buy in 6 handed turbo nl holdem sit and go tournament. There was a tremendous lag which caused players to be dealt a total of 3 hands during the first 15 minutes of play. The very first hand that was dealt was hand #448786544 with blinds at 10/20. The very next hand that was dealt was hand #448787187 with blinds at 15/30. The third hand that was dealt was hand #448787650 with blinds at 25/50. The 4th hand that was dealt was hand #448787998 with blinds at 50/100. Play resumed at normal speed by then. I ended up losing all in for 1075 with A5 vs 67 preflop with blinds at 75/150. I was dealt a total of 3 hands during the first 15 minutes of play because of a system lag. Please review the hand history from tournament #15724 so that you may confirm that everything i've said is true.

Anyhow, I contacted betonline through the live chat and explained to them in detail what happened. I asked for a refund and they refused.

Jw if u could help me out?

Perhaps they may still be willing to give you something in return for your troubles, but anytime you're having network related connection issues in a tournament, on any site, I would advise you to refrain from continuing to play the tournament, even if it starts working as it should, if you wish to receive a reimbursement of your buy-in. Letting yourself blind out will give you a better chance of getting a refund in that situation than continuing to play until you bust out and then asking for a refund.

Thanks for the reply MCAchitown. At the end of the day it’s iust $30. I’m not losing any sleep over it. With that being said, I believe that I am rightfully owed a refund regardless of the fact that I played it out beginning level 4 or level 5. I didn’t sign up for a super hyper turbo where I’d only be dealt 3 hands in the first 15 minutes of play. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve bet heard in my life. I’ve emailed betonline twice since 7/21/19 and haven’t received a single reply. Betonline is a joke of a company. Even if I was issued a refund, I’m never depositing on betonline again. Anyhow, thanks for the response.

I completely understand your frustration with the situation and I hope they can provide you with some compensation for your troubles.

Please know though that the situation that occurred on Sunday is out of the ordinary. For the last few years their software has been very stable and things like what happened on Sunday are not very common.

The company, like any company, certainly has some things they could improve upon, but I think that overall they are doing a pretty good job with the direction they're going.

I hope this situation will not deter you from playing there in the future as I believe there are many good things to come with their games.

Thanks Mike but I really don’t care about the refund. My advice to you is to look into everything I’ve stated and look into improving customer service chat by employing people that are knowledgeable in the game of poker. I’ve provided you with the tournament # and hand history information. If I were you I’d definitely look into why players at my table weren’t issued a refund. Better yet, I’d ask why they refused to issue me a refund after I had explained everything in detail. Thanks and have a nice day.
