I personally dislike anonymous poker and would hate to see this network go that route. Anonymous tables are the poker equivalent of tee-ball or bumper bowling IMO. It's a completely cold environment over there where you never get to interact with people at the same tables as you. You might as well be playing at a table full of bots that can't communicate aside from a small number of emojis, but somehow several are just programmed very poorly.
Speaking of which, anonymous poker makes it much more difficult to detect game integrity issues from the players' perspective.
If you're in the US and have access to both then why would you choose to play here instead of over there if both are anonymous, if over there is going to be softer on average due to do more strict location restrictions?
