It s been almost 24h I cannot play poker. The client stop loading with the message "the server name or address cannot be resolved". Trying to acces betonline.ag automatically redirect to https://beta.betonline.ag/visitournewsite and nothing loads, blank page.

Does anyone knows what is going on? Are they undergoing maintenance or some sort of restructuration? I cannot find any official comment on the situation nor anyone else sharing my problem atm. It already happened in the past but usually just for a few hours so it got me a bit worried.

I am creating this thread as a warning to any poker players looking to play on BetOnline. They are thieves, they took my deposit and are now not allowing me to cash out just because I am a foreign citizen and am travelling and playing on the road.

Let me back up a little bit. I am a UK/Aus dual citizen and have been travelling in America for the past 18 months. I created an account on there and i made a very small deposit to start. When i first opened the account i spoke to someone from the accounting team and i specifically asked them that i was able to play on their site. The team member said it was fine for me to play while i travel. So i played on their site for about a year, i made many withdrawals with no problem.

Now i am ready to go home and i tried to cash out and they declined my cash out. So i again requested a call from their accounting team and they called me. Because i am from Australia i use a VPN from time to time to stream. Apparently while i was still logged in to the site i used the VPN after i had finished playing a session. For this reason they declined my cashout. Despite them calling me on my American phone number and despite me playing from my American mobile internet connection. They asked for a lease or a proof of address but i am travelling around the country so why would i have this. Anyways They will not let me cashout my money, money i deposited on there. It's an absolute joke, so now i am stuck in America and im out of money, I mean sure it's poor money management but how could i know they would steal my deposit when i had made a dozen cashouts in the past. I mean how could they even call me on my American phone, and i play on there with my American internet connection if im not in America. They won't even accept my passport. I don't know how i'm going to get home now

Just don't play on their site, they are scammers and they WILL steal your money. Just play on ACR everyone, Betonline cannot be trusted, as soon as you make any money on the site they decline your cashout.

If you read this Betonline, please make this right. You accepted my deposit, you told me i could play on your site, do the right thing and allow me to cashout, I will be posting this on Reddit and every other poker board and i will continue to post this, every single week on every single poker board until you make this right. 1. You create account called (poker site)scammers, you will and should not get any believers. It's an immature whiny passive tantrum.

2. BOL is not stealing your money. This title is like clickbait trash similar to the garbage that pops up on Twitter feeds.

Now that all that is out of the way....Chico is one of the easiest tp deal with and most upfront US facing sites. If you think a long winded whiny post is going to get their attention and create a need to help you, you are sadly mistaken.

There are people that will respond here that could help you with your issue. Where you are correct is the general CS for any poker site sucks. They seem to hire from the pool of fired WalMart greeters.

There are reps from Chico that look at all things Chico on 2+2. You might want to consider editing you title and post. Make it more friendly and one that is seeking assistance as to how you can try to resolve the issue.

TLDR: they didn't steal your money. You screwed up, albeit innocently. Stop whining, rephrase your post as if you were asking for assistance vs some faux PSA. I'd bet there will be someone that will be able to at least offer assistance for you.

What exactly did he do that was wrong? Pretty harsh response IMO. It's not like the guy is cheating. If I understand correctly, he had the software open but wasn't playing at the same time he had a VPN on. That shouldn't be a reason to not pay someone out. I know I've accidentally had a VPN on when playing on ACR, and I just get a warning email. I don't lose my ability to cash out my balance.

Is dude overreacting and probably not handling this the best? Sure. But acting like he shouldn't be entitled to his money is a bit of a stretch.

If the reason they gave was a VPN then it would appear to me that they believe he used it to intentionally circumvent their policies. We don't know what the reason is for the security team to believe that to be the case.
