Good day Dustin,

My name is Carey from Player services, I hope this email finds you well.

I have reviewed the tournament in question and can see that you managed to play and placed 25 and the tournament payout was made that you moved to the remote cashier, please advise if this is the one that you were referring to , 150K GTD Main Event with $109 buy in, with that being said there is no refund due.

Please feel free to contact us at anytime if you need any assistance or further clarification.

Regards

Carey

yes super disgusting i was in 11/64 after being in top 5 most of tournament had just lost a big flip jj>kk was in 3rd minutes prior. As soon as reseating started was disconnected. Yes had a definite edge and was denied huge amounts of equity!

I was blinded out of the $215 75k itm, had a good stack on the bubble. Haven't yet heard back from support.

The issue was precisely when a player was reseated. I was talking to a friend when playing and he had issues 10/15 minutes before me. I only had one tournament at the time and it played fine even though I couldn't open any lobbies. As soon as my table closed and I was reseated, gone, couldn't play or connect any more.

I chatted twice with live support today. First time was unbelievably frustrating. Spent one hour with the agent and he replied three times. Only one of the three actually addressed the issue: "I'll make a note on your account for compensation to be considered". Considered? Are you serious?

Then I spoke to another agent who was a lot more helpful. She asked for the tournament I was playing in at the time and the last hand I played. Said she passed that info to her manager and that I'd get an e-mail from her in 3 to 4 hours. This was 9 hours ago, no e-mail.

Going great so far, awesome job, BetOnline!

Same happened to me in the $22 buy in 4k PKO, I called customer service and they said they would review my account and get back to me which they never did. I called again today and they said to use the live chat instead:

On Sunday 1/17 I was playing the 12:45 4K PKO with a $22 buy in. I was deep in the tournament on my second buy in when my table was closed and my new table would not open. I finally logged out and was unable to log back in. I had over 23 big blinds and $55 in bounties at the time. I was forced to sit out on hand 707732297 and was completely blinded off into 17th place before I was able to log back in. Looking at the hand history, it appears this happened to several people while others were able to just keep steeling blinds and eventually the bounties. How am I to be compensated for this?

Hello Doug, thank you for your patience. I have put in a request for a senior to review the matter. Once they've concluded their review, they shall inform you of their findings and action that is taken/shall be taken

Here is their email response:
Good day Doug,

My name is Carey from Player services, I hope this email finds you well.

I have received your poker review request and have checked the account and see that your were only inconvenienced in that one hand and played the others and even received a pay out from the tournament, please note that we refund the buy in when you are not able to play a single hand at all and the system will show the status back end, therefore there is no refund due.

Regards

Carey

What a joke, if I don't at least get my bounties I'm taking my play somewhere else.

This is wild.

I was literally just about to make a deposit, but the way they are handling this is absolutely terrible. It's clear they have no interest in their reputation or their customers.

Has there always been rake preflop? i just noticed it now but don't remember it being here before
01-22-2021 , 03:17 PM
How long does it usually take to receive a response from support about gaming-security? I reported very obvious collusion or at least play that is 100% against terms in a DoN 3 days ago and have neither had a response nor a refund so far. It also is not so questionable that it should take more than 30 seconds to look at, to say the least.
Playing on Sportsbetting skin btw, but that shouldn't make a difference (?)

At what stakes?

Can you show a screenshot that shows rake is being taken out preflop now?

It can vary from days to weeks depending on the situation.

I did see that some compensation was recently sent out though, but I have no idea what it was for.

To make it clear i 3b the open and took the screenshot after the uncalled amount was returned to me

I use Imgur.com.
After you upload the image move your mouse into the upper right corner.
Hover over the three dots and click Get share links.
Copy the BBCode for forums link and paste that link in a post here.

So let me see if I understand this correctly.

This is a $0.10/$0.25 table.

Rake is $0.01 / $0.18 in the pot(About 5.56%) and capped at $3.00 for at least 5 players dealt into the hand.

After you 3bet there is 6.44BB in the pot = $1.61

After the open raiser folds only 6.12BB was returned to you = $1.53.

$0.08 was taken.

.08/1.61 = .05 or 5%.

So they're now taking a smaller % than advertised, but also taking preflop rake if at least two players voluntarily put money into the put?

Has anybody seen the same at other stakes?

I'm not sure if this was intentional or a mistake. Either way I'm not seeing this change listed on the website.

The website still says

BetOnline Rules
01-22-2021 , 04:43 PM
Yes, that is what happened. It happened in other hands i think but didn't screenshot it.

@betonlinemike can we get some clearance on what the rules are here? would hate to think i was raked unfairly
01-22-2021 , 05:20 PM
Yeah, until this is listed on the website everybody who has paid preflop rake should have that rake returned to them.

Does anybody know when this started?
01-22-2021 , 05:49 PM
I cant keep screenshotting them but as i play now the rake seems to be happening on all 3b pots
01-24-2021 , 01:04 AM
This preflop rake thing is insane. ggwp, i wont play another hand on this network until this bullshit is revoked.
01-24-2021 , 03:08 AM
It's absolutely insane and I won't play until this is addressed either. Every player who has paid preflop rake so far is due a refund of that amount. They better make this right, but it doesn't even appear that the people whose job it is to reimburse the players are even aware of the issue or else it would have been corrected already.
01-24-2021 , 07:58 AM
Wow seems more likely that it is an intentional rake increase, hopefully not. Has any site ever changed preflop rake? i have never seen it.
01-24-2021 , 11:01 AM
The shady ass GG Network is the only one I can recall. I'd have to imagine even they would tell you that rake is taken from their from pots that don't see a flop instead of stating the exact opposite on their websites.
01-24-2021 , 12:40 PM
I PM'd BOL Mike yesterday and have yet to hear back. According to his profile he was last online yesterday at 6AM (my time) which means he likely saw my post about the preflop rake but didn't respond.

I enjoy BOL and the games they offer but will likely be withdrawing my funds and playing elsewhere unless this is resolved quickly and fairly
