Why would I ever contact them about my bet? As far as I knew there was never anything wrong with the bet. They were being super cautious to pay out, just like many other sports books, sent out emails saying that, and I waited it out like everyone else.

It sounds like maybe they thought it was fraud, but they never contacted me, never messaged. me, never asked for any verification or anything. Just silently deleted it days before it paid off. I mean it must be nice to be able to claim fraud whenever you want, especially in a case like this when the bet is 99.9% decided. And then never even have to offer up any type of explanation. You think I was getting my deposit refunded if I was on the Trump side? Absolutely not.

So I cannot help you. I dont deal with anything related to sports but as people have mentioned I would get hold of twitter. I also understand your frustrations and im sure there is a reason behind it. I dont think BOL sports would try and worry about losing a bet for $1200 or so and just delete it if they saw it had won. However im sure with that twitter you will get the help needed.

That's what so baffling, I know they're generally considered a reputable book, I know they don't care about $1300, I know they profited big off Biden winning, there's no incentive to screw me. I posted this same thing on SBR and it's got like 80 responses and 1500 views and now I've filed a complaint. That can't be good for their business. Yet there is still no one from BOL chiming in on that thread, the silence is deafening. Even IF this was somehow a legit decision (I have no idea how) to delete my wager, the optics of doing it in the way they did it is just soooo soooo bad. I hope it was worth it to whichever manager made this decision.

From my experience there is always more to a story than what is posted socially. Please dont get me wrong, im not saying you are lying but sometimes there is information missing. However please PM me your details and ill forward onto someone who can forward it to the right department. Thats really the best I can do for you.

If there is something I did wrong, I sure as hell don't know what it is. But for now I've got the complaint filed with SBR, and an SBR rep will be in contact with BOL management, so I think I should be good, thanks.

I doubt they can legally reinstate your bet, at best maybe a sincere apology.

Which is why dealing with these sites is sketchy to me.

Well obviously I'd like a resolution that gets me paid out. I mean surely they could just credit my account. I would think that could happen if it proves they are at fault. SBR seems to have some power to act as an arbiter. I'm still struggling to think of any way I'm at fault here.

I've seen your post at SBR as well. The most obvious mistake here is that you used a credit card. Offshore books don't process cards themselves. If the processor tells BetOnline there was an issue with the card they are going to cancel your bets and get the money back from your account if they can.

Never use credit cards- always use bitcoin. They even give you 5% extra for using bitcoin. It's a no brainer. This would not have been an issue if you had. You would have even been paid out instantly with it too.

BetOnline is one of the biggest offshore books. I've entrusted them with balances as high as $50,000 before. They pay out in minutes with bitcoin.

Surely they will make this right if there wasn't an issue with your card or the processor.

I haven't any cash races in client! Mike, why some players haven't any promotions lust couple of month? 2 Questions

a) is there a notes file or is it server located?
b) is there an option to disable that the 'ENTER' key does an action (raise) on a popped up table? It's pretty annoying, literally can't chat while playing more than a couple tables

I tried making a withdrawal and I received multiple emails saying I have important messages in my account with a link to my account however it said my password is incorrect. I am 100% sure I wrote the correct password and tried this a couple of times. After no success I tried resetting my password and it said I will receive a password reset link to my email but I did not get anything.
Did this ever happen to anyone?

Just logged on to see if there were any special tournaments running for Christmas, and it looks like there have been a number of changes to the tournament schedule disadvantageous to MTT players. I typically register weekdays between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM EST. Just some changes I've noticed:

12:30 PM - $22 - Monster $5,000 Gtd
Changed to: $22 - $2,500 Gtd (lobby says it's a bounty, but it's not)

1:15 PM - $5.50 - $1,000 Gtd
Changed to: $5.50 - $500 Gtd

2:00 PM - $22 - Monster $7,500 Gtd
Changed to: $22 - $5,000 Gtd PKO

2:15 - $11 - Monster $2,500 Gtd
Removed from schedule/not replaced. Very disappointing IMO.

4:00 PM - $11 - $1,000 Gtd Turbo PKO
Removed from schedule/not replaced.

I can't speak to the changes at other times of the day because I stick to my normal schedule. I can see they've added some freezeouts to the schedule during late morning/early afternoon (when I play), but they're at much higher price points that I won't be able to touch.

I can understand adjusting structures and adding tournaments. But lowering guarantees in tournaments that met their original guarantees, and completely removing solid tournaments doesn't make any sense.

Until they get this figured out, I guess I'll just have to increase volume on WPN.

Pretty sure this is because there is less of a player pool on holidays. The same thing happened on thanksgiving and then returned to normal

I'm pretty sure that the notes are stored on the server and there is no way to access or ability to change them from a file on your PC. If you were to log in to the same account from another device the notes should still be there.

I don't see an option specifically for disabling the enter key from raising, but you could try disabling all hotkeys.

If that doesn't work then try suggesting an option do so in the Software Improvements & Features Thread.


I'm also pretty sure that the holidays are the reason for the reduced MTT schedule.

Update: Got Paid!

I talked to BetOnline today, they told me it was a big misunderstanding and apologized and paid out my bets. Finally!

So I'm happy I got paid, but man it's a lot of hoops to jump through if you get wronged by an offshore book. But at least there is recourse.
